Tenderfoot Thahd Matt
Hi, I am having trouble opening scenarios because in the introductions (the illustrated page with text on the right), the application stops responding and freezes. This is ok for scenarios with only 2 pages of intro, because usually I can eventually get through to gameplay with a few tries. But one scenario has 3 pages, and I can't get through, try as I might. Anyone have any ideas? Solutions? I thought maybe I could take the intro file out or something?
Magnificent Ornk nikki.
Try removing the graphics, since this seems to be the likely culprit (especially if you are using a Windows machine). Open the scenario in the Blades of Avernum Scenario Editor, and click "Intro Text 1" from the "Scenario" menu option. In the field that says "Graphic to display", enter "-1" (without the quotation marks). Do this for Intro Texts 2 and 3, and try again. Tenderfoot Thahd Matt
Well, you pretty much solved my troubles anyways: I went ahead and deleted all the text from the intro fields, and it skipped the intro altogether. Thank you for your help, much obliged!
Well-Actually War Trall Ishad Nha
This is odd because this area of BoA normally does not have any problems. Are you on Windows or Mac, if Windows have you tried the Compatibility function? If you right click when in Windows Explorer, you will bring up a context menu.
