Chittering Clawbug Paladin95
Slarty has a nice list of these in Strategy Central, but how exactly are they factored into damage? Either it isn't straight-up multiplication or there's about three times more physical resistance out there than I thought (i.e. about 60-80%). Hatchling Cockatrice Lilith
When he says "damage multiplier", he actually means "die size". So if you're using a submission baton, you roll 7-sided dice for your baton attack (with the number of dice depending on your dexterity and missile skills), but if you're using a reaper baton, you roll the same number of 12-sided dice instead. In other words, having a multiplier of 12 doesn't mean that every point of Missile Weapons will add an average of 12 damage to your attacks; instead, it's a little over half that. Chittering Clawbug Paladin95
Ah, that makes sense, now. And now I can actually crunch some numbers when I want to decide which stats to pump. Thanks.
