I have another question, not sure if I should start a new thread, but how do I change turn order? fights usually go like this: my 1 st fighter acts, then the priest, then the enemy who attack the priest, sine he was last to attack, I want both my melee fighters to be the last to hit the enemy to attract their hits.

Thanks, although being equivalent to a skill point is not so bad, and Im desperate to improve that skill.. and I have alot more money than I need, so I might just get it.

So far in my fights on Hard difficulty, Ive been relying on a combination of Control foe and Terror to make the enemies more manageable, but the problem is I sometimes need control foe specifically as the distraction and extra damage dealing is a huge help, but at my current level (only 1, never improved it), its not reliable, even against dumb/low level creatures. Its not uncommon for 2 control foe spells to fail in a row. I wanted to spend on raising it but is it useful? I read few times that improving skills is not worth it and is better to get the first point of a spell only. Edit: I just remembered that raising the priestly skills of the character will no doubt help this spell become more efficient, but which skill do I raise? there's Priest spells at 13, spellcraft at 7 and magery at 4 (which still needs a point of intelligence before I can raise.) Any advice appreciated.

I found it finally, it was staircase to a small basement not connected to the other basements, it was hidden behind a wall.

Oh well, that's 800 gold I won't be getting.

Well, I did get alot of ambushes with walls crumbling, but there were never any eggs behind the walls, only ones that are already popped, and I was always checking with the 'u' button as I go. Checked every corner of the colony twice but no eggs to be found.

Ive got the Smashe, smashie quest from the board at Ahonaria but I cant seem to find 8 eggs to kill, Ive cleared out all of the Chitrach colony including the queen and pretty much cleared all of the Anama lands, I killed a few eggs but not 8, I also killed 2 before I got the quest which I dont know if they count. Will I see some more eggs somewhere or am I stuck with this quest? I also could really use the cash prize for it.

hi all, I am trying to move my A5 saves to my main PC but I cant find the save files and copying the game doesnt work, is there any way to do it?

Yes I pretty much gave up too for now atleast, I admit I was playing on hard and was willing to try hard with the stronger enemies but those super-vicous thick skinned rats with titanium teeth really demoralize you.. its a shame since A5 looked like it had a story plot better than A4 (which I liked alot). I might try it again in the future on easy after Ive read about it here and made the best possible party I can, but if even then I cant play il probably be really angry at myself for wasting all that time and effort. Also I read here somewhere people talking about playing A5 on torment... how did that happen? whoever did it should post his strategy for playing and how he made his party, unless he was just really really determined.

Lark doesnt have augmentation spell but thats not the point.. Im going through healing potions, energy potions even food to barely stay alive and like I said its the first part of the game, so I dont have a chance, even magical rats gave me a hard time and then game praises me as a "soldier of the empire". I want to start over but I need a good party creation guide to explain skills, traits, battle diciplines..etc

Well I really tried to get into A5 but its just not working, if I had to reload literaly 20 times to kill some slimes something is wrong.. Either enemies are rediculously over powered or I did something wrong making me very weak, even the weakest creature kills me and medium foes take average 10 tries to kill... and all of this just in the Hartson area..

Only my first day and I already run into trouble... I got the quest lowlands slime from New Hartson board, I go to one of the slime cave entrances and get the messge that it escaped, I go down and the cave is empty, I already cleared it, probably before I got the mission. I waited and walked around the S-E area a long time waiting for it but didnt show up...

Yes I realize theres no one best way, I was hoping to change my previous setup of soldier/meatshield - pole/tool guy - priest/archer - pure mage. but that seems to have worked best for me. I guess I will just go with that, allowed me to tank heavy damage, do heavy damage at range and enough tool use to open all locks.

Ive just finished A4 and enjoyed it so much that I decided to plunge into A5 too, even though with my playstyle its redicilously time consuming. I want to make the best party possible to help me through the game at hard difficulty, are there any guides for creating characters, skills etc?

I sold some things and its good now, I might take some more things and move them out somewhere to prevent this happening again but I will probably forget where I put them

Sorry for the late response but I tried dropping Items in the farthest corner away from the portal and on the surface of the fort and basically any random place (very far from portal) and they all disappear when I teleport.. Ive tried earlier saves and things stay where they are... could this mean that I have too many things now? If I sold off somethings would that solve it?

Ok so now I have a problem, everything I put down in the portal area disappears if I teleport somewhere then come back, the things already there dont go just what I drop now... any idea why this is happening? It wont be fun playing while being paranoid all the time if my things are gone or still there..

Hi, I was just wondering is the limit for 200 items in the same area or for the whole level? (i.e. all of underground portal area)? I have loads of stuff stored there but spread out and never noticed anything wrong untill recently I noticed Demonslayer is missing after I replaced it with another sword and thought this might be why.

I see, I havnt played in a while and forgot the shade moves between 2 cities. I can kill it now, thanks.

Hi all, I seem to have run into this bug while in Av.4, Right now Im at the stage where I fought Rentar-Ihrno and she fled to the abyss, I reported it to the king and showed the rod i found to the castle wizard, and she tasked me to kill a shade, all ok at this point. the problem is I killed the Bolsk shade for the mission with the mayor then the silvar shade too without saving, The silvar shade ofcourse killed me.. So when I replay from when I have to kill a shade the Bolsk shade is totally gone but the "kill the bolsk shade" mission still not done and I cant finish it because I didnt actually kill the shade. The last save before that is way before I fought Rentar-Ihrno and I dont really want to do it all over again, but dont want to have a stuck mission either...
