I find 1 PC's a pain in this game, becasue of all teh crap you end up carrying. i tried it once, but then i added anotehr charctor just to carry stuff.

my next problem is to get Stuffit for teh computer... anyone kow where i can get Stuffit 4?

Was/Is Exile compatible with Mac System 7.1? I recently came across a computer runnign System 7.1 and was thinkng "what games can i out on this?" so Exile came to mind. im not sure of the model or ram and hard drive space, as im not sure how edxactly to read tehm from teh apple menu about this macintosh thing anymore, but it would be appreciated if u atleast tell me if the OS is compadible.

Nethergate was 9X/NT, not 3.X like Exile. I think a reinstall is good, or an older computer is good.

I think they're running a 64bit system. IVe never encounterd this problem on any 32 bit system, wher it refused to runa 16bit app. Windows Longhorn is going to be able to run all old games, as deminstrated when they ran an old DOS program from 1981 (i forget which one) at one of their demos of it.

Decompiling the games is in a direct violation of their EULAs, as they aren't open source. of cource, im sure if you have baught the game then Jeff might, not will, just possibly might, sell you the code, or give you the code legaly. There is a very slim chance of that, but it is possible.

I read this was possible, and i would like to know if anyone here has done it or know how to do it. currently i have a live CD and would like to put it onto my hard drive.

mabey your OS files are corrupted. I've had irregular problems liek that untill i reformatted/reinstalled Windows 98. And try changing your Screen Reslution to 640x480 or 800x600, it may help if its not already that small.

if that dosen't work, download ad-aware 6 and spybot S&D and update their core fiels as soon as you run them and see if that helps. oh, and do you use KaZaA? Because it tends to put little things on your computer everytime you start the program.

i know how, it's just my parents would notice, and i wouldn't be allowed on the Admin user unsupervised when where windows updfating. oh, and btw, SpyBOt and Ad-Aware both do diffrent checks, so you really need both.

every tiem i run Ad-Aware and check for problems or update my core file, it aparently chrashes, and windows wants to send an error report to microsoft. DOse anyone know why is dose this? I thyink it may be becuase of the restricted user status on my account.

Mozilla is really quick to start up when you have it in the quicklaunch mode- anyone who disables quicklaunch should be hit upside the head, because you can't renable it. but all-in-all Mozilla is better than IE. Firebird dosen't have a quicklaunch though, but it's fast internet speed makes up for that.

the forcat command didn't work, but the Win98 setup formated the drivce for me.

Win 2K dosen't have a DOS boot-u[p option... do you think i could start up with m yWin 98 disc then format it?

how do i reformat my main Hard Drive in Win2K without the disk? i recently got a new computer, and want to make my old computer a Windows 98 again.
