I agree with Alorael, Crystal Spears, although not a spell, really are neat. Somethign i would like to see in a new SPidweb RPG, liek A4 when oti coems out.

I think nethergate was never as popular becasu of (1) spell casting is diffrent (2) its basicly teh BoE engience but with 3D graphics (3) It came out alogn with alot of popular non-spidweb things, liek Windows 98 so ther was no money to get Nethergate for some people. ad (4) it was just too fun for soem pepel to handle. and welcome o teh boards geepers man. if you need your sanity back on teh way out teh door you should pt it in teh lost and found box

Ok, so someoen wanted maps for Nethergate made, right? ok, so i wanted to ask a question: if i made map(s) for Nethergate's Outdoors (and/or/not) indoors, how many peopel would use them? check all taht apply.

you have a problem with Maidenword, the font Blades of Exile uses for dialouge. a common problem from what i understand. check to make sure teh font is in the program directory.

how dose oen go about creatign new items and monstr for a scenario? i remember the BoE editor had an option soemwhere, which i can't find on the BoA editor.

If i had Nethergate installed atm i would concider paecign maps together, and partly for my benefit as well. So, i may undertake that task in teh near future, aftyer i paly through A3 one more time adn finaly beat the first Blades scenario.

what Operating system are you running? i find this error when i try to run A3 under WINE in Linux. If its the Mac verison, try removing and non-Avernum files from the "avernum 3 files" folder in your A3 directory. If you are usign Linux, try ther commercial version of Wine known as WineX, which can be purchased or found via a torrent site (illegaly of cource, which i do not endorce)If this is windows, jsut email jeff as i have never has this problem under windows and don't know what to do.

wehat it all boils down to is this: if Nethergate was teh first Spiderweb game ever, go with the Romans. If it isn't, go with the celts, because thoose of us who've played other ones have a hard timi not giving everyone magic, along with thoose of us who play fantasy RPG's just for the magic.

Annwn - ive always thoghut to be Ann-wyren, thsi is actually Celtic, and used correctly, and i have read the proper prounceation in a book in my local library.

Aethdoc - i prounconce it Ath-A-dock. im prolly doign ti wrong, but how m,any ppl actually talk about NGate out loud? think onti, d we really need correct prounceations?

i put e3 on ym linux box, but i have a problem: i can only play the game in a window and can't get to teh chartor editor. dose anybody know the commands for fullscreen and teh editor?
