  1. true. Why would someone make a game about normal life though?
  2. No wonder they have trouble ending their wars I am wondering where the G4 eastern part is located at.
  3. I never bought G1, so I didn't know about that one. Thanks for educating me. so to rephrase my previous post There is no such thing as a bad canister except for that one in G1
  4. @Master1: If creations were pure energy they would be invincible. They couldn't get killed when stabbed because they wouldn't have any organs/flesh/blood to destroy. I think they start off as energy although they solidify into matter. We also do not know the exact amount of essence a shaper can hold in his body. We have no unit of measurement, so it could be tons, or very little at all. The alternate demention as their source of energy makes sense.
  5. that concept scares me. One thing with that though.... who is the PC?
  6. The essence could be measured in large quantities. It never says the exact unit of measurement it is measured in. And for rifts in the land.... Did you ever see the large black space around the map?
  7. Ahhhh I see now. Like Jeff is god to all the Geneforge characters. It is an interesting concept. Sometimes I wonder why God decided to create the world. The one thing that I think proves that they don't is that you can redo things. But then again, things could be redoing in our world and we don't notice. Yup, It is an interesting concept
  8. Is it weird that I don't like fish? I prefer steak... but then again I live in Texas. I personally think that it doesn't present ethical issues. I know that the majority of us wouldn't think about shooting anyone unless under self-defense. I know for a fact that all of us have played a game where you killed someone. We most likely didn't give a damn about killing them either. The simple reason is because we don't actually kill them, so we don't feel guilty. I'm trying to make my posts longer
  9. In my opinion the shapers are use an advance science as well as magic. E=MC2 to create matter from energy(essence.) Hence they would create matter when healing by using the same principal.
  10. Why did necromancy happen? I suppose to make my reply on this useful I will say something entirely obvious about canisters such as: Canisters give you skills, or canisters are blue. Instead of those I will say that there is not such a thing as a bad canister. wisdom from a canister junkee right there
  11. We never slaughter the peasants. Never ever. We just stab them with a sword and they magically disapear and leave a blood splatter.
  12. I see now.... Hide the wife and Children type erra. me seez tha light..
  13. The Shapers supposedly spend a long time training to learn how to do that though. They are using magic to make sure that cancer and mutations do not occur. They also use magic to get the correct type of cells.
  14. In GF2 I noticed that it said Drypeak was just a couple of days walk from the Shaper Citadel. What I have wondered is where the islands are located.
  15. Healing always creates new cells. It is simple biology. If you cut yourself your skill will create new cells to heal the wound. I personally find it a bit ironic that the shapers create life yet they don't know that much about cells.
  16. What I have always wondered is why there are never any children included in the maps. You would think that at least one peasant would have a child.
  17. Is it my opinion or is this argument getting nowhere? We might as well just keep our own opinions and not waste our time forcing it on everyone else.
  18. I understand your point about some healing such as the vlish.... What you are saying about speeding up the process to create new cells is practically the same thing as my opinion about creating new cells. They are using essence in a way to create new cells quickly to heal themselves. That seems like shaping
  19. I never even noticed Alwan liked Miranda. I feel unobservant They don't exactly have romance scenes although they may suggest that romance is taking place.
  20. I thought the argument was about how healing is or isn't shaping... By speeding up the healing process with essence the shapers technially are creating cells
  21. ~Pyrrhus looks at Trenton. Hey you creation thingy over there, go get me some coffee.
  22. They went after my non-rogue corrupted thahds. I guess I am just too awesome for them to chase after
  23. That was the same game that I killed both harmony towns. I guess she met him in heaven in the end.
  24. I disagree with one part about real life and doctors not replacing cells. There are organ transplants and blood transfusions that of course are cells. My understanding of the healing in geneforge is that they shape over the injured parts to heal them. The healing animation is of essence flowing over them. Therefore, it is logical to assume that they are using the essence to heal themselves by shaping. Off topic thingamajig: when you kill an enemy creation it should leave the body parts (ex. Artila eye from a dead Artila)
  25. In G3 I remember that one lady that tells you not to kill the harmony rebels because her husband is one of them. She shunned my shaper after I went and killed them
