What are the optional battles? Dragon, Incarnus, Belloch... anything else? (besides Redbeard)

Huh. I've tried 3 times now, and he just teleports away, even when it's not his turn to act.

Can you kill the Wayfarer when you meet him near the hidden path Gavin shows you? If not, what's the point of the fight? Can you avoid fighting Melisande? I've done all her quests (they culminate with the Drake egg, right?) and tried all the conversation options )

2 more things. How many rune-covered doors are there? There's the one in Morty's tower (which you're specifically directed to when you get a way to open rune doors), the one below Spiridon's cell in the Avadon dungeons... what else? Dealing with Zephyrine. I can damage the dragon just fine but her sentinels appear to be immune to most of my magical attacks, and keep healing themselves and the dragon. In the end, they just wear me out with knocbacks, stunlocks and brutal meelee attacks, while I can't really damage them.

Nevermind, figured out how to distribute my potion stash the team and powered through. Is there some secret to hurting the wizards ghost, or are you supposed to just ignore it while you pound on the demon?

Thanks. Don't know how I missed it. Tip on the Belloch fight, while we're here (I'd hate to start a new topic for every thing that stops me in my first playthrough). Everyone's level 30, shadowmaster/shaman/sorceress.

I killed his wife and smith, descended into the undeground, turned the one winch behind the archer ambush... and I can't seem to find the next area to proceed to. No gates into the central area of the castle (the garden into which the Lord fled) have opened. I can explore Wizard's area, the barracks and the grove, but seem to be stuck for a way to proceed.

Oh, also: Commander Ryozo. I guess I'm supposed to find a way into the record hall (maybe one that's revealed after the Ogres attack the dragon?) but I can't seem to find one.

Either my game is glitching out, or I'm missing something obvious. I found Jenell with her new loverboy, she came along to reveal a secret passage, I checked the area, killing a bunch of vine monsters and spiders... and that's it. I can see a suspicious fake tree in the upper left corner of the area, but Jenell doesn't volunteer to open another passage through it. Help? PS - Also, tips on handling the Dragon's challenge (besides levelling up above level 14)? I can't run away or the challenge fails and the dragon regains her health, I can't do much damage to her, and just staying alive for a few round while spamming summons and healing does nothing.
