I think this argument is getting ridiculous. I choose to vouch for my own insanity and will, thank you.

Fort Dranlon is a stop along the river doing north to Fort Draco. If anything it should be a town with a military garrison, not a fort. Fort Ganrick I think was there during the Empire War because of the Empire War. I hoped there would be more Forts and towns in A6, but there were less than others.

It seems like this engine's combat is much better than others before it. I liked the simplicity of BOA's and A3's but for the next generation of Spiderweb gamers it seems like this system is best.

It seems like many different spells have become useful again. It used to be that I could Fireblast instead of Arcane Blow and deal more damage, while saving more mana. Also, summons seem to be functioning rather well. Again, we see that summons weren't particularly useful in earlier games but in this one, they seem to work again. What do you think? Though the archmages are all dead or gone, magic is back in black.

I miss the surface, tons of pointless towns, a wider variety of items (axes, pikes, flails, now greatswords, saber, rapiers, poison, and many others from Exile.) And towns and outdoor sections were nice even though they were unrealistic, it was easier to navigate and organize.

Well, as you could see in Exile/Avernum 3 there were many pointless dungeons/ towns that didn't pertain to any major quests or major side quests, and some of them were fun, like the Rakshasi one.

It's just many oldbies prefer Avernum or Exile, as they were around first.

Though it might sound odd, you could try to take some graphics from Gunshy (If you know what that is) and make decorations with a few adjustments.

It used to be that character editors could do EVERYTHING. Using it wrong could seriously mess up your game by making it very easy.

No, Erika is dead but her tower still exists, and not the one in Upper Avernum. I am not sure if you can access it though.

Can you get into Erika's Tower or to Khoth's Citadel?

Whenever I opened Exile 3 in the new Sheepshaver it froze OS 9 and I had to restart.

Keep BOA alive!

Well I started using Chubby Bunny (Sheepshaver preset) This past summer and now whenever I put a new app/foler/anything on it, it says

"The package *blah blah blah* could not be opened because, there is a problem with it.

Try reinstalling the package"

So that's my problem

Actually, the game is very linear compared to AV1, AV2, or AV3. Oftentimes the problem is when you steal something you shouldn't, go somewhere you shouldn't, or anger someone you shouldn't. I found that Jeff had put up barriers just about everywhere he didn't want you to go. They told you that Formello was suicide so you would want to get out ASAP.

Well compared against the other games, I find that it actually is fairly easy. Especially if you have it set on Casual. Compare it to Avernum 1 or 2 and see how it changes.
