  1. When I register demos, I usually make a new party and improve its stats a little if it's my first time through the game and then I replay hard-core style. For my singletons, I give them unlimited gold, even. You're still playing, just tweaking-style to help you out as you go along. There's nothing wrong with cheating. It can lead to a very relaxing but still interesing game. And that's what games are all about: relaxation. It doesn't matter how you achieve your relaxation.

  2. Actually, it's battery recently exploded (pried itself open due to heat) even though it isn't a recall model. Even with the new battery, it gets incredibly hot incredibly fast. I will be back in America really soon to try and fix it, for there may be a real problem. There aren't many good Apple specialists in Paris.

Luckily, this isn't my home computer, and it may be covered by BYU for their faulty program computer that is only 10.0. They probably won't ever replace it, sadly. What I mean is, I had to use the Intel laptop because of their dumb computer.

Topic change: it is shifting to the laptop now.

  3. I'm afraid so. Classic seems not to work on this computer. When I launch it, an error dialog comes up that says that the application HotBurn AutoLaunch failed to launch because of a shared library error. I tried with sharing on and off with no effect. I've tried everything I can think of with these limited resources.

  4. Because of my hideous computer you may have heard about, N:R doesn't work in any way shape or form. It is Mac OS 10.0.4 (Build 4Q12) Memory 256 MB (everything is sorted out with memory. I really have something like one gig virtual memory.) Processer Power PC G3. Neither the normal nor the older mac version work.

I downloaded it on a good computer and mounted it to a flash drive to put it on the only computer I can always use. The good one is Intel and needs to rest it's processers a lot and recently had serious battery problems, ergo, I can't really play N:R on it and must use this horrible, bug-infested, digitally moldy computer. Is there any way on Earth to fix this hideous bug?!?!

  5. No, no. I think there is another abbyss somewhere in that dungeon. I tried jumping it, but my Celts all died. I haven't yet gotten there with my Roman due to freaky computer problems. I can't look it up right now, but I will tell you when I can. Anyone know what I'm talking about?

P.S. Thanks for the help! I started a new Roman that was much better. He's doing fine.

Some more info: I seem to recall a fomorian on a ledge in the same place. If you try to, you get the option to jump in to an abyss in the same cave/room. I am pretty sure that there is nothing down there, since you can't see anything, but it is worth checking.

  6. Hmmm. Tough question. In terms of world size, of course not, because as with the beloved older engines, you can hold down the mouse button to travel the world at high speed.

In terms of quests, I would think there might be a bit less or a bit more that A4.

In terms of play time, for me, much more. I have grown very meticulous, always wanting to complete EVERY quest. If you aren't like that, than a bit less because of outdoor travel time.

If you want ultra-specific answers, maybe Synergy or some other powergamer will have compiled a list. Although that seems like a slight waste of time to me.

    :p

  7. They have to die? How sad! I love that community! It is a perfect example of one of the reasons why I have a passionate love of creations. VERY passionate. They are treated so poorly. I hope I get to see more intelligent creations that can talk and tell you of their daily troubles. I love creations.
