  1. Fear not, it is not a curse. I know Spiderweb would never even attempt to implement a virus within their games to harm you. Did you try to enter his bunker from the inside of the bunker complex or the outside? Inside, you must click on the door. I don't think you can initially enter from the outside. If you move the cursor over the inside door, the door should highlight in the manner of an ordinary door. Click on it to enter the infamous Bunker of Moseh.

EDIT: The freeze problem could be related to having an intel mac and not using the universal application. One of the game icons has parentheses holding Universal. If you haven't already, start using that one.

  2. Chinamericanking-

I don't even remember quite what I was going at, because that was sort of a stream of consienceness post and Nethergate was in my head, and thus spawned that idea of a counterpart. I think the whole creation center idea was more like a small place in some big towns where you could purchase short-term creations that dissappeared at a certain point becuase their essence would give out. Somewhat like an unstable creation, but longer-lasting and without the extreme power.

    Dikiyoba-

Maybe I was wrong about batons. I guess that I don't really care about missile weapons and dexterity as much unless I'm an Infiltrator, which I have played through with twice. I should try a third time with a baton based character, but I'll have to wait to get home to my computer.

  3. Back to G5 ideas:

What is the deal with batons anyway? Somewhere it says that they are can be a powerful weapon in the hands of a well trained guardian, but I have always found melee(spelling?) weapons to be much better; they are even better than the reaper baton to me! Batons may be nice, but they really do need more depth, like the stat boost already mentioned.

Anyway, I would like to see:

    1. Perhaps a few Xian/Sylak-like items.

    2. The ability to possibly find wild creations in their own community; being either hostile or friendly. These could sometimes be contained within towns, sort of like a convoluted orphanage where you could pay the keeper of the creations to have one in your party. The creations within could all slightly differ (in level, color, or the way that things like Greenfang are different than an artila you just made) and would have different creations depending on where the town is (i.e. if it was a swamp, there would be worms, roamers and the like). Just so you know, this is my most far-fetched idea, but it is a possibility.

    3. Your equivalent on the other side attacking you at certain points in the game, like what would be you if you were on the other side.

  4. Sorry for my lack of specific knowledge, but...

Remember that one door that you need 3 shards of some sort of crystal to open in the taker lands? All I remember is that the first area beyond the door is filled with rotdhizions, eyebeasts, and the like. I was wondering where the pieces to open the door are (I got in once, but forgot the location of all shards) and what the areas inside are. I don't have access to Geneforge 2 right now, but this has been nagging at me for a while. Your help is appreciated.

  5. Since I am away from home at the moment and using a different computer and don't plan on registering it here, I am playing through the demo with a Celt party of 4. This game is immensely creative and unique in storyline. It is a really great game, and you should download it the day it comes out for windows. It even has snippets of actual history in parts (mainly item descriptions). However, I have noticed something slightly annoying that will probably get fixed in later versions. The game, since it uses the great BoA engine, makes numerous references to Mage and Priest Spells skill. But oh well. I could care less about some little mistakes like that.

There are tons of cool outdoor encounters to come across. The descriptions are rich and portray an interesting atmosphere. A very imaginative game. The dungeons are very cool, with the usual secret doors leading to treasure, intense boss fights, cunning puzzles to solve, etc. All great aspects present in all Spiderweb games.

I am really feeling the suspense, knowing that sometime, you must die and travel the land of the dead. I can't wait to register! The game has some of those nice cutscenes we all like to watch. Netheregate Resurection really is a great game. This is pretty much my testimonial of this game.

EDIT: Sorry. This post is a little bit sappy. I must have been kind of tired.
