Better late than never for posting the log of session 11. Sorry for being so tardy about it, Earles.

I haven't been able to get on a lot lately because Real Life has been rather busy. So... yeah.
-
I'm getting a "Could not connect to host" error when I try to log on. Is this a server problem or something else?

1) CNet. Back in the day, my mother used to download a lot of game demos and such from CNet. One of these games was Avernum 3.
2) Most of my friends aren't too interested in computer gaming.

As far as I know, but I need to give a heads-up: I will probably be either exhausted or hyper (due to consuming enough caffeine to kill an elephant) when the session happens. This is because my ever-shifting sleep schedule has me basically nocturnal at this point, so naturally, someone decided to set a meeting at 12:00 noon I have to attend. And decided to give me roughly 24 hours notice it was happening.
EDIT: Yeah, rescheduling might be a good idea, given what I just posted.

But more seriously, I can attest that the death-evasion bonus maxes out (either at 80% or 95%, memory's a bit foggy on which) in A3/BoA. -

...and it's NOW that I realize an alternate suggestion for myself: Paladin. *facepalm*
Still, nice work, Diki. It's been fun watching this come together.

This thread demands a tribute of Cat Photos!
Normally, they never sleep this close together. I usually take multiple pictures of a scene, but I only managed to snap off the one here, since Sydney tends to enjoy making taking pictures of her a nightmare.
Sydney does not approve of your shennanigans.
Protip to cat owners: This is why you don't store your towels in the same drawer as the catnip tea. Not only does it get cat saliva all over your towels, but it unlocks the mystical and terrible powers of felinity.
This was a stray that just showed up one day. A young male; despite the grumpy face, he was actually a very friendly cat. (Sorry about the blurriness, it was the only shot I managed to get with him facing me)
I'll post more once I get them uploaded. It's rather slow-going on dialup.

I'll probably be on for the rest of the day today, in case anyone wants to test their mettle.

Anyway, I don't really have a problem with odd PDNs, but that's because I tend to identify members through a combination of their avatar, signature, and/or (if applicable) custom title. I don't really use PDNs to identify much anymore. -
Y'know, I was just about to ask if this had been forgotten. Barring any unexpected developments on this end, I shall be there.
-
So, Sylae, any word on a calendar?
Also, Rowen, we still need a Freckley level-up.
In addition, I updated my signature. I think Voria needs to say something more quote-worthy, though.
-
Currently on, and will probably wait about an hour for someone to show up.. I'll also attempt to show up over the week-end, too. If I'm not immediately responsive, just give it a few minutes.
-
Filled in, but my schedule is getting hectic, and is prone to abrupt change. I'll let you know if something changes and conflicts with what you set.
-
I suck at goodbyes and farewells, so I'll keep it simple. Farewell, Slartucker, and good luck.
(I would have posted sooner, but my life has taken a surprisingly abrupt turn for the hectic.)

Oh, look at that. Voria can actually shoot straight now.

HELP!!!

What Lilith said, basically.
Less basically, this sounds extremely similar to a problem I had with a CRT monitor. Basically, one of the pins in the VGA connector was damaged, which caused it to go magenta and green whenever the connector or cord got jiggled. So it could be that whatever's connecting the laptop's screen to the rest of the computer got damaged or jostled out of place. Mind, there was no real way to fix it myself, other than getting a "new" monitor.
So what Lilith said.
(In fairness, if it was my laptop, I'd probably attempt good ol' percussive maintenance in hopes whatever got jostled wound up re-jostled back into place. I do not recommend you try this, because there is a very fine line between "percussive maintenance" and "needing intensive maintenance".)
