  1. I'm not too sure if that's true but it's irrelevant. The amount of experience awarded is determined by your PC with the highest level. Soon enough all enemies will be giving you 1 xp and it doesn't matter how many characters are in your party. You're not gaining any levels.

This wouldn't be so much of a problem except for the fact that parties of four also hit this cap fairly quickly. Even with max xp penalties on everyone.

I played through A4 with a 45% xp bonus singleton and the <10 levels I had over my quad of divinely touched kitties couldn't make up for the skill points wasted in arcane/nature lore much less the bonus skills that the positive traits give.

There are currently 4 books in the series. The last book was A Feast for Crows, which came out in 05 I think. The next one has a date of late 2012, which, according to a person at a local book store, basically means the publisher is not sure when it'll be out. Mr. Martin sure takes his time on his books.

I'm talking about a dance of dragons. In 04 Martin stated that his new book was huge so he was going to make a book with only half of the originally planned povs to come out in 05 and the next would have the other half and come out in 06.
  3. In the past about half a year, some of which are rereads:

    Nightall, Beginnings, I robot.

    Stranger in a strange land.

Dr jekyll and mr hyde, treasure island, kidnapped.

    The phantom tollbooth.

    Tuck everlasting.

    Catch 22.

    Farenheit 451.

The three musketeers, the count of monte cristo.

    Bonfire of the vanities.

A song of ice and fire. (Wasn't the next book supposed to come out in 05?)

The wheel of time. (Shame Jordan died, Sanderson just isn't the same.)

  4. @SoT: For assault rifles, that's true. With high powered (read: sniper) rifles it's more like mach 3. The difference is in the amount of powder in the cartridge, the weight of the bullet, the length and rifling of the barrel. The long m-16, shortened m-16, and m-4 despite being almost entirely the same weapon all fire their .223 bullets at vastly different speeds.

  5. You could've mentioned what kind of firearm you had in mind from the beginning.

At first I was going to mention the 0.338 lapua magnum, but if you're looking for handgun cartridges then there's no better than the trusty 9mm. Mind you, my experience is primarily militarily oriented, I'm not too sure as it applies to competitions.

EDIT: Handloading is much frowned upon where I picked up my experience.

  6. So my little sister has a Wii and one of the games she got for it was Zelda: Twilight Princess. Seeing how my childhood was marred by a distinct lack of Zelda and hearing about how amazing the series is, I decided to commandeer it over the course of several weekends off from the army. Now, I definitely liked the game, but I have just a few problems with it.

    1) The two guys with their amusement-park-cannon-cuccoo thing on Lake Hylia really disturbed me. I know, I get it they're gay and that was ok, but the over-the-top flamboyance and the clichéd sound effects the one on top (excuse the pun) made were downright horrifying. And the one on the lake just seemed really depressed. Looks like a one-sided relationship.

    2) Midna's a [censored].

    3) Once you get your 8th heart or so, the game's just way too easy. The only time I had to heal was during the cave of ordeals and I never once even considered using the magic armor. (Which, coincidentally, I paid 1800 rupees extra for because I didn't bother to read a walkthrough until it came time to find all the bugs and poes I was missing.)

    4) Being a wolf sucks. I never willingly transformed into a wolf. Except for the battle at the end with Ganondorf when he turns into a beast; which I really did try to do as a human. He just sorta mauled me down to two hearts when I finally took the hint.

  7. Sorry for the topic necromancy, but this is simply wrong.

Also, "set_level(pc_num(),61)" will set you immediately to level 61, but will also raise your base stats to 30 as if you were some mere creation.

  8. No, all creatures are on the same list, and there is only one ability list. All creatures use the same ability list and the ability list applies to all creatures (and weapons).

You could, however, create a new ability with its own number and give that to whichever creature you wish. Just remember to find all creatures that have "import = [whatever the creature number of the modified creature was]" and edit them as well.

    ASoIaF. I want a cookie.

EDIT: To be more specific, the first three were Daenerys' dragons and the second three were Aegon the Conquerer's.
