  1. If you've already checked out Tech Support, then just email Mr. Vogel at spidweb@spiderwebsoftware.com I'm pretty sure that he'll help out with your current GF situation.
  2. Shouldn't this topic be moved to the Avernum Trilogy thread instead? As for the Bunker question, once you trigger a major story event, you'll know how to get in.

  4. The top area of this thread board has some scripts to download that make one of the signs at South End turn into some kind of character editor. If you're desperate for money, just download those scripts and replace the old ones, and just get to the South End sign to activate some instant gamer-made cheats. Word of caution, back up the old scripts before putting in the new ones in your GF3 Scripts folder.
  5. I usually play solo (always human if solo), and the name of my solo character is my first name....*wink wink*, starts with a J and ends with a S. If I play a 4 member slith party: Leonardo (Slith Male Fighter) Michaelangelo (Slith Male Mage) Rafael (Slith Male Fighter) Donatello (Slith Male Mage) TMNT theme... On rare occasions, two nephils and two humans: (2 males and 2 females) Jeros (Human Male Fighter) Felix (Nephil Male Fighter) Veronica (Human Female Mage) Whiskers (Nephil Female Mage) Sometimes I use two sliths and two humans: (Also 2 males and 2 females) Zidane (Human Male Fighter) Elizardbeth (Slith Female Mage) Rikku (Human Female Mage) Lizzanardo (Slith Male Fighter) Just these three party name combinations and my one solo name, using the two fighters and two magic users format (party) or a fighter/magic combination (solo), which is quite common to use in many RPGs. Edit: Minor typos and added gender/class descriptions for names.
  6. Quote: Originally written by Bobo Returns: That is exactly what I did last time. The saved games stopped working so I just started a new game and downloaded a new game. I am less willing to start over for the second time. Anyways, I found DrawSprocketlib in the trash. ( No idea how it got there) Where is the place that it goes again? If you have DrawSprocketlib, then you've using a Mac then. I think it either goes in the System Folder or in whatever Avernum folder that you're missing DrawSprocketlib in. On how it got to the Trash bin, it's either that someone probably used your computer and trashed it on purpose, or something new was downloaded that overwritten the old DrawSprocketlib. That's just my two cents on it.
  7. Is Jeff really planning on making a GF4 or BoGF? I probably wouldn't mind or care for it, but I'd have to agree with a lot of the posts around here stating that Jeff should focus on making new games instead of sequels to them, unless the sequels are something fresh and innovative.
  8. You should avoid double posting and just add two posts into one through editing instead. Anyways, I think that Eyebeasts are good creations to use and Fyonas are good to use in the early and mid portions of the game. Thylads do look a lot like stone golems of sort, but I personally never use them. Since I pretty much used a Guardian Shaper, I relied more on physical combat than creations.
  9. I thought the RW board was used to spread spam as I really don't see anything serious going on on those boards. Anyways, Avernum 4 would more than likely look quite similar, if not exactly the same, as the previous 4 Avernum games. (1,2,3, BoA) The only noticable difference that might be made would be a continuing storyline and with all of the stuff from the previous games back. It's just my guess, but I think Mr. Vogel would just stick to what works, even if people think that major changes are needed. I think that they should just make a whole new series of games instead, something fresh and innovative.
  10. Perhaps it's not the OS as I have both Mac OS 10.4 and WIndows XP Professional and I have no problems whatsoever. If un-installing the game had no changes in the graphical cursor re-appearing, it could be a resolution problem or that your're not installing all of the files properly. Make sure that your game is set at the right resolution, whatever it is, usually 640x480 or something around that setting. Most games require that you choose a custom or default installation. If this message didn't give you any help at all, you should probably just get the CD to the game or just format your computer, while maintaining your own custom setting, and see what happens. You could be missing a certain graphic file in your computer or something. If not, I really wouldn't know what else could be a possible issue. Or maybe perhaps that the cursor may only appear if the game is in full screen mode instead of minimizing mode. That usually is a common thing with a lot of older games. Other than that, you either have a computer that has a hard time running older games or there could be something with the mouse itself...
