I love the multi-targetting spells. It makes it alot easier to take down targets you REALLY need to. Thats one of the things that made the avernum games one over for the geneforge games, well for me at least.

Kelandon-the link leads to a "My Web Search", is that what it's supposed to do? Dear Alorael- first of all, why do you alwayse refer to yourself in the third person? Second, By what I've heard about the storyline, there will obviously be surface access. Hell, for all we know, there could be 2-3 different storylines for how you play it, or you could choose to start on the surface, or belowground, or whatever.

Ummm guys, this is a topic about A4 and BoA, and which is better, not English and Grammer. I have 3 more courses of it in Highschool, and I assume the majority of the people here are either in College/University or Highschool, so we don't really need to know about it. As for which is better. I haven't played A4 yet(waiting for windows), but if it's anything like the Geneforge series, then it will have a extremley indepth storyline, with a varying plot, where BoA is more you being able to suck more fun out of the game, because of all of the new scenarios being made/released. Overall I would have to say BoA, because even if you beat all the scenarios already out, there will definatley be more, or maybe BoA2(hint, hint)

First you'd have to capture a whole crapload, and how many would die in that venture? Then you'd have to work for a few hundred years to train them, then thier offspring, and make sure it's a hereditary fact so they don't try to kill the trainers, you'd also have to ward off a crapload of the sentient monsters working to capture the worgs and thier trainers, and then trying to capture them back from the succesful raids, and so on and so forth. I say, use giant lizards, the friendly spiders, or at worst, the cave cows.

LOL. Sooner or later pcs/macs will be voice activated, so that would be awsome=). Is Divine Retribution available in the demo? If it isn't, could someone post a pic of it in effect on here?

Those are good points, but are easily solved by 1 simple answer. Have a harness that 1.holds the lizards head in place, 2. it holds the riders legs in place. With different sizes of lizards and harnesses for different species/ hieghts, the problems are solved

i repeat what I said, logically they shouldave found a way to train them so they can be ridden long distances, I mean hell, they use them as pack animals, so why not riding animals as well? or are they saving that privilege for the cave cows?

that sounds pretty cool. But you'd think by this time Avernites would have learned to train the giant lizards or the friendly spiders to be like horses on the surface, except alot more deadly

He should make a pre-order system, saves the players alot of waiting, and Jeff knows exactly how many copies he needs to send out. I know this is off topic, but will the 4 avernum games be in a package? or will I have to buy the trilogy and the 4th seperatly?

dammit, i was looking forward to seeing the surface. But meh, I'll just wait till I buy the game, as well as the whole of the Geneforge & Avernum series, only played the demos so far How is it only underground? Were the Avernum citizens beaten in a war on the surface? or did they decide not to go to the surface at the end of A3?

I mean what I asked, when will they give us the info about the creations and charecters? I know they'll be a new type from the screenshots, or is that what we look like when we start the game?
