  1. Hi guys;

    I've still got this problem of the scenario placing my party in a wrong section of the towns. it get's really annoying when you appear halfway inside a wall, and then have to walk around the outside of the tower just to find your way in. So if anyone knows what my problem is - please tell me, because it's effectively stopping me from continuing with my scenario... eek

    The values after the skills names aren't your total in this skill, but the number of points you've spend in this skill.
    If you want to know what they do, just get them...
    What sort of skill is END? Because I really want to know. Spells take up too many spell points for my liking. (thats probably because I'm testing a scenario overrun with undead)
  3. If it doesn't work on 95 you'll have to get a later version of windows. It works for 98SE, or you can just find a copy of the file that you need and put it into your WINDOWS folder. The system won't pay any attention to it - But BoA will. just an idea... rolleyes

    I've been trying, and It don't work. I'll let you know if it does. There's one or two topics with the same question in the BoA editor Forum... rolleyes

    The way for Windows is CTRL - Click, if you want to know. What's your scenario going to be called? (You don't have to reply)

    Also, moving around towns/outdoors maps using the keyboard arrow keys is annoyingly slow. For some reason using the mouse at the edge of the viewing pane makes this faster.

    Windows 98, 800Mhz.
    I find CTRL - click easy enough. But it would be easier if you made a selection that lets you do basic BoE things, as well as the scripting. So it does all the simple things on it's own - just an idea...
  7. It would be fun to play for people who don't have the other Avernum games themselves. But I don't have number 1 or 2, but I've won 3, so the time-frame would just make it confusing, not to mention that it is impossible to copy it absolutely perfect. Though if they're anything like Exile 1 -(I got the demo), they could do with serious remaking. If you do it, please let me know when it's ready for testing, I'll help.

  8. I'm working on one. It will be called 'Undead valley', and your main aim is to travel through a valley full of undead, fight in two towers, and several other towns, and reach the end so that you can warn the Empire, Or Avernum, for help. I should have it out within the month. I've been working on it nearly non-stop since I got the editor a week ago, and the game just before. You will need a high level party with at least one priest in it -> or you won't live...

  9. I've tried to make once offs and SDFs but I can't do them. I've read through the entire manual - an awful lot of manual - and I still can't do it. Could someone please email me how to set SDFs properly and how to make Once Off dialog boxes...
