  1. Yeah, this place isn't very populated - but everyone that likes GENEFORGE is over in the new GENEFORGE 2 forum - cause the game's both bigger and better. And after GENEFORGE 2, we're all expecting BoG.

I mean - what's there to say. We're all talking about BoA. Which is Jeff's best game yet...

  2. Guys,

Is it just my system, or is the Auto-Hills feature totally messed up - because it makes all kinds of weird things - not what it's meant to do. A standard hill that's just meant to have one height difference - practiclly kills my level 52/372HP party. It like - drops me 50 squares down - and it's PAINFULL frown

  3. Cryoa's also have much more powerful attacks even with weak stats. Anyway. You should get Vlish. They cost less - and they're attacks are practically as powerful. And it also depends if you are a SHAPER, a GUARDIAN, or an AGENT... What are you?

P.S. If you don't know - you can learn Vlish in Medab - it's the locked door in Carnelian's lab. Also, you can learn Roamer and Augmentation in one of the woods near Medab - DEMO Version also!!!

You're right. You talk to Commander Johnson ion Fort Emergence. then you ask him about 'BUNKER'. He'll demand to know who told you about it. Then ask him about 'SANDRA'. He'll tell you how to get into the bunker. ("Vahnatai cheat... I hate them...They killed my favourite Character...")

Yeah, the manual helps - but it is an awful big read . I mean, if you've read it, why don't you just give the answer straight?

P.S. For your info. I don't remember seeing this problem in the manual. But it is 110 pages of confusing stuff, so I may have forgotten it... laugh
  6. I had the same problem. What you have to do is...

Make your town entrance at least 3x3, then you can enter from all directions.

If you don't want certain sides to work, all you have to do is either block your town's sides, or set the internal town entrances to different places.

    Hope that helps;

EDIT: This is one of the times when I wish that I could use the <table> code.
SCUCIA ISLAND? I thought that was in GENEFORGE 1. Anyway, if you search for Geneforge 2 cheats it doesn't give you any working cheats. At least npot the results I got...
  8. Depends. I haven't tried with this script, but with some of the scripts you can just openb it up and edit the text it displays. For example...

The special magic door one, the one that says all about the enchantment that you have to destroy before you can tackle the door... I've edited it to make it say something totally different in my new scenario. All you have to do is edit the text.

Perhaps it works the same for this script?

What? You don't believe in yourself? Itisn't THAT hard to learn to make proper scenarios. Well, scenarios free of technical bugs, at least. If you read the Docs and Appendix, you'll get most of the idea how. Of course, there is a certain problem with understanding avernumscript - you need minimum exposure to programming.
Programming languages like Visual Basic 6.0 are a lot easier than AvernumScript. Sorry Jeff, I heard you tried...

Have U read the manuals yet - they might be a good idea to read.
  11. It takes a long time to write one - you know. I've been working for over a month now, (including a week of fried computer), and I still haven't finished it. But maybe a few more weeks in the making... I'll post a topic asking for testers in the BLADES OF AVERNUM forum when I'm finished, so just wait...

  12. There's no errors, or anything similar. And theres enough space to walk aroun and everything. It's just that when I try to leave town it's liking walking into a wall. Immovable - and it's so annoying.

It's only happened in this town though, but it's my most important one. Without it the scenario is useless! frownfrownfrown

  13. Look, Evil-Arch ~ Whatever...

You aren't helping me. You're just starting n argument. If you want to statrt an arguement just make a new topic labelled 'ARGUMENT', but I'm working on a scenario, and I need help, not some stupid person bothering me because they find it funny.

P.S. What kind of a name is 'Evil-Arch-Archer-Mage?' Sounds as if you want people to call you evil... If you are, you're going about

    it the right way!!!

P.P.S Anyone else, please - I do need this help. Just ignore this evil person. PLEASE!

Do you mind explaining what ' emagination ' is, and how you can mine it please? And what's the point in replying to my post - You're also asking for tips!

If there is a rule like that I think it would be a bit unfair because I like talking and sharing ideas about my scenario and other people's with each other. It's great to know what might be coming or what might just be r a rumor
It doesn't matter if there is a rule, it only matters if you stick to it. But it will get boring if you give your entire plot away, when you finally get to play it.
  16. Grey-Eye.

Are you interested in playing a Half-Made scenario? It's just that I need continous testing right throughout the making, and it gets annoyning when my level 50+ party dies. Please tell me if you are. I'll be watching the forum for about another 10 minutes, so I'll see any reply during that time. If you are, please say. It's for WINDOWS, so I don't know if you can do it or not, and I don't want you or anyone else to copy the idea. THANKS!
