  1. My friend just got the graphics now, in a few minutes I should have them and I'll just edit this post and tell you what I think. Edit: Brilliant man, I quite like brown dude, expecially the dying effects.
  2. Grape Slime - Give up the act, everyone knows that you are Ice Drake. To the two guys with the graphics try this address - phsycotron@gmail.com Hopefully that will work.
  3. Quote: Originally written by Marvin, the paranoid android: Now I think of it, would you be interested in seeing my best self-made graphics? They are creature graphics for BoA. Just hive me your email adres, the format you want it in and a promise to not use it without asking me or putting my name in the acknowledgemens. I wouldn't mind having a look if thats ok. Also Zealot, if your still offering I wouldn't mind viewing yours either. k_bungi@hotmail.com Thanks to whoever actually lets me view their graphics.

  6. The Avernum series is newer and so I guess Jeff figures that he will make more sales by making an Avernum 4 rather than an Exile 4.
  7. Summoned creatures are handy when facing someone with powerful attack magic. It's good to have someone else take the blows and your characters surviving for another round.
  8. Mine are as follows Kingy (Leader and fighter[i like to feel like I'm in the game]) Mycroft (Mage) Melissa (Priest) Brian (Fighter / lockpicker) This is the first combo I ever used and I used it in all of the Avernum series.
  9. When I first played Avernum it was brilliant, because barely anything would run on my old computer. I was amazed that I could run a game I liked so much.
  10. I know this is just going to be disregarded as spam and ignored as no-one really cares, but when I read "jeff bogel" I cracked up laughing for ages. Ah, good times.
  11. Oh. I just immediatly assumed that he wanted a new custom graphic. If he only wants to change an included one the method mentioned above is ALOT easier.
  12. Yea you can. The standard directory for the pictures (on windows) is - C:/Program Files/Blades of Avernum/Data/Art graphics . The Avatars are there. You can download custom graphics from - The Louvre
  13. Yea, that's the same as me. Although I would like to own one as having the actual thing is always nice. However, having to pay for the hintbook and for the shipping of it just isn't worth it.
  14. Yea, I loved the fact that the story line was differnent and it offered something completely new without losing the Avernum type engine. (I played it after the avernums by the way). I think a second one like that would be brilliant.
  15. What would be kind of fun is if people put their speculations and hopes of what they wanted from A4 into scenarios. It would be kind of fun to see who is the closest when the actual game is released. Obviously I don't mean the whole game type of thing, but maybe just a small section. Edit: I know this isn't the place for this sort of thing but still - 200!
  16. That is about the only thing I ended up using the character editor on. I just couldn't be botherd returning constantly and then getting more money and having to go back so many times.
  17. If it was Avernum 2 it'd be a surefire win but, although Avernum 1 was good, Nethergate wins out of those 2.
  18. It would be very hard to actually make a decent mod of Avernum using the TES Construction thing. I looked at it just before. I'm not saying it can't be done, just saying it would take ages and by the time it's done Oblivion would be out and the mod would see less people using it anyway.
  19. Go to the castle, find a gold key and then go to Akhronath. When you get there, there is a top bit and a room you cant get into. There is a wheel that needs the gold key to use it(use far sight or something). When you do that you can get into the room and thats where the Royal Seal is.
  20. That would actually be brilliant. I think that both Avernum and Morrowind are great games and it would be interesting to see a first person, brilliant graphics (rather than something that's pretty much a text adventure [Not that I have anything against the graphics, infact I like them]) version of Avernum. I think it would be incredibly hard to pull off though. I would help but unfortunitly I have no skills in that sort of area.
  21. It's no where near as good as Exile, and I don't really even like exile. Well actually I suppose I do because it's just Avernum. But I like the Avernum engine and all that a lot more.
  22. I'd personally like to see more Nethergate(although I haven't had enough money to register the origional).
  23. All this nethergate talk is really making me want to buy that game. Alas I still have no money. One of these days I will have money to buy something other than the food I need to survive.
  24. I'm not a fan of any of the Geneforges so I don't want to see most of that ruining Avernum 4 for me. The only thing from that list that would be a good addition would be item crafting but it's not really that big of a deal anyway. I don't think that things from the Avernum series and the Geneforge series should be mixed at all because theres a lot of people who like one series and not the other.
