Rotghroth Rhapsody Uberdhizon
I just pumped my leadership up to 9, so I could get the assassin to leave me alone. I succeeded, and then I went to talk to Ghaldring, but he was [supposedly] busy. What do I do next?
Hatchling Cockatrice Lilith
You gotta sneak in to see him. Leave the guest area using the east exit. From there, you have two options: the power core, or the labs. The labs are safer if you can avoid getting caught, but if you're spotted you're in trouble. Hatchling Cockatrice Alorael at Large
Well, if you're spotted you have to reload and try again. That's hardly uncommon in G5. —Alorael, who will add that going via lab gives you a lovely opportunity to steal some nice things if you have high mechanics and a whole lot of spare living tools. Rotghroth Rhapsody Uberdhizon
What's the power core like?
Hatchling Cockatrice Alorael at Large
Hot. —Alorael, who thinks that just about sums it up. Yep.
Hatchling Cockatrice Lilith
Powerful. Try it and see. edit: my answer was better
Rotghroth Rhapsody Uberdhizon
The way Alorael described it makes me just a little bit hesitant to go inside. But what the hey; what have I got to lose? Oh, that. Whatever.
Hatchling Cockatrice Alorael at Large
You have health to lose, and possibly some energy and essence. Oh, and conceivably creations if you're not careful, or pods, or even money to replace pods... —Alorael, who could even see the slim chance of hitting an unforeseen bug and causing catastrophic damage to your computer. Happy playing!
Rotghroth Rhapsody Uberdhizon
Looks like I averted the bug (if it existed) and got to Ghaldring. I got his quest to break the line.
Hatchling Cockatrice Alorael at Large
The thing about avoiding unforeseen bugs is that you never surprise anyone. That's part of the "unforeseen" descriptor. —Alorael, who welcomes you to the ranks of power core survivors. You get a free metaphorical feather for your virtual hat.
