Well-Actually War Trall BainIhrno
Okay, I've been trying to port some BoE scenarios, and I keep getting error messages when I try to open them in the editor after porting. I've tried downloading the original editor, but my computer doesn't support it. Can anyone help? SurraAgob
Well-Actually War Trall Ishad Nha
Are you on Mac? Check the Data folder, they should be going to a sub-folder in there. Examine the Bas file and make sure it is the correct size, check that *all* of the Exs file was ported. Original editor, Windows may have a Compatibility feature for that. Magnificent Ornk nikki.
Yeah, I'm pretty sure I remember something about the 3D editor being unable to port anything without breaking. The original 2D editor should run under Windows without messing around with any compatibility stuff, though running it under Windows XP probably won't hurt it. Well-Actually War Trall Ishad Nha
Original 3D Editor infallibly crashed whenever a port was attempted. Recent versions usually port BoE scenarios properly. They have a better porting function that is more helpful and accurate. Editors compiled under DevC++ may do funny things...
