Stuck on Nathalie Quest - Other Thread isn't helping me =(

So am I retarded or something? I've been trying for a day to get past this damn room with it's stupid two circles and door that remains locked. I tried the instructions from the other thread, but it seems like I have to be missing something? Can someone please give me some tips or some really really realllllly detailed guide? I love you, I love you all

OK, here is the 100% foolproof way to solve the circle puzzle by trial and error.

 

Start going around the big loop in one direction, making a quicksave every time you walk past one of the circles. WATCH THE BOTTOM OF THE SCREEN. When you see a message there telling you that you feel an icy sensation, you've gone too far and reset the puzzle: reload to your quicksave from BEFORE you stepped on that rune, and go back around the loop in the other direction, still quicksaving at every circle. Repeat this process until an exit appears.

If you read that post/obelisk/message thingy, it gives you the instructions on how to get past it. However, Lilith's answer is 100% foolproof.
