Hunting The Huntress

So I'm at the part where Duke Gryfyn is sending troops after me and I'm stuck in the Beraza Deep Woods... I kind of killed everybody before starting the quest to kill the huntress. I talked to Hand Gavin and I can't finish the quest. Any ideas on how to finish it?

I killed her first as well, but had no problems continuing on with the quest. Make sure you try all dialogue options with Gavin. Maybe you completed the quest and Gavin gave you the next one without you realizing it?
