But if there's nobody on the gate you'll need a small cheat to get in: Press [shift D] to bring up the cheat console. Type in: sdf 114 20 1 The gate should open. That slith is supposed to appear again later, so you will probably have the pleasure of killing him twice. And let that be a lesson to you about gratuitously attacking non-hostiles!
