Well-Actually War Trall Cairo Jim
Does anyone here know where I can find older versions of Realmz scenarios? I've tried searching around without any luck.
Chittering Clawbug goblindolf
How old? There is realmz 1.3.2 here: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/realmz/files/ I am assuming it came with scenarios at that point
Hatchling Cockatrice Aoslare
Wow, 1.3.2, that is old. Which ones are you looking for older versions of? And why?
Well-Actually War Trall Cairo Jim
The newer versions just seem a bit...strange. I'm used to the older versions and can be a bit sentimental like that. I also seem to get slightly better stats when I create a new character. I'm not sure if that's just me
Hatchling Cockatrice Alorael at Large
Character creation is Realmz version-dependent, not scenario-dependent. —Alorael, who isn't sure if the randomization didn't work. He wouldn't be surprised if race and class bonuses changed, and not necessarily for the better.
Hatchling Cockatrice Aoslare
You probably want 1.4.x or thereabouts. That was the classic version that was around for a while. There was a major overhaul at some point where the class and race lists more than doubled and the names of all the stats and spells that were lifted from D&D were all changed, to negative effect. I suspect this was around the time that Paramount threatened to sue the developer of Starfleet Rescue and thus they replaced Klingons and Romulans with Kigons and Rulans.
