Fledgling Fyora billycrimmin Posted June 8, 2009 Share Posted June 8, 2009 hey everyone, ive just started playing the geneforge games, and im having a really big problem. Every time i play the game, it runs fine, but then when i save, it seems as if its successful, says "save successful" etc but when i go to load the game there is no save file there. Understated Ur-Drakon The Almighty Doer of Stuff Posted June 8, 2009 Share Posted June 8, 2009 Is the game installed in the Program Files directory? Vista has some issues with this directory, specifically that it does not allow programs to create or modify files inside it. If you reinstall the game in a different folder (such as C:/Games/Geneforge/ rather than C:/Program Files/Geneforge/) it should work fine.
