Tenderfoot Thahd Erunno Posted May 26, 2009 Share Posted May 26, 2009 I'm the owner of the latest MacBook Pro (version 5.1) and I am experiencing some weird behaviour when using the touchpad to control Geneforge 5. A lot of interface elements and commands need a double tap to trigger but not consistently as sometime a single tap will suffice. Constantly double tapping (which is akin to a double click with a regular mouse) is somewhat tiring after some time so I would like to ask if it is possible to alter this behaviour or if alternatively a future version of Geneforge 5 will fix this issue. Have you tried clicking instead of tapping? As expected, clicking works normally but due to the resistance of the touchpad it's even less comfortable than using double tap.
