Hey, started with Avernum Escape From The Pit - loving the game, didn't even know anyone made games like this any more, and will surely now buy others in the series, haven't had this feeling since the first time I played Baldur's Gate or something.
That said, i'm having a few issues, my party are all about level 10, and it seems that nothing in my quest log is quite doable for me, tried clearing out the Aranea lair, one battle is so frustrating I just can't seem to get through it, same with everything else i've tried, giants near Formello, the Slith quest to get dispel barrier is still too hard, the Slith fortress still a bit too hard etc.
Is there a guide somewhere that would just give advice on sort of smooth progression through things? While I love the game tremendously it feels like i'm spending way too much failing, then finding something else to do until I gain a couple levels.
