I always prefer an INT boost over other stats as a Guardian or a Shaper.

Try buying a unit of a Vlish or upgrade to Searing Artilas from Diwaniiya. Invest your Skill Points purely in Magic Shaping. Fyoras aren't meant to last you half the game. If you want to hold out for drayks, I have no suggestions.

Is it the Crumbling Docks or the Abandoned Vale? Crumbing Dock should be no problem exiting. If its the Abandoned Vale, try talking to the Servant Mind.

Guardians are great to play in G2. Later in the game you (with good Intelligence) can have a small army. With good Parry levels, it is possible to evade almost every hit. Leadership and Mechanics are always invaluable but you can still make it through without them. Guardians are also desribed to be like a tank. In the latter games they start out with some levels of magic skill, but in the early games, Guardians started with zeroes in Magic, making spells impossible to use or at an exorbitant cost.

My vote goes to the Fyora. The fyora is the base of almost all fire creations. The Fyora's variants... Cryoa, Drayk, Cryodrayk, Kyshakk, Drakon, and the

Ur-Drakon.

I concur. You can fully control Alwn and Greta in G3 and increase their skills at no essence cost. Of course that brings up the topic of one of them eventually leaving. Another is Greenfang. He is fully controlled by th player (I'm not sure if you could increase his stats freely). He left when you encountered Shalia in G4. But those were included in the party roster. In G2, NPCs are not included in the roster (I think) so you do not control them. Even if they were, G1 and G2 is all AI except for yourself and your creations with 2 or more levels of intelligence.

Though I never beat inner or outer Shaper Crypt myself Ive found it to be much easier with creations that can do a good ranged/melee mix (for example a drayk). There is a good guide on YouTube for exploring the crypts.
