I'm on my 3rd playthrough of Avadon. I love the game: if I didn't I wouldn't have played it 3 times. There's one small thing that keeps irking me:

The graphics of each character's attack takes 2 to 3 seconds to hit and dissipate: the green cloud from a Shadowwalker's poisonous melee attack, Jenelle's magical "claw", a Firestorm from Nathalie. You can't initiate the next character's action while that graphic's happening, you have to just watch it each time, which to me makes the combat feel less realistic. Real combat would happen simultaneously. No idea if that's something Jeff has ever considering changing, but I would appreciate it...

In the Warrens I tried pulling her back with the Rod of Attraction; didn't work. Didn't work with the Shadow Beast either. That thing has no use at all.

The Ogres are a separate quest from the Titans -- haven't gotten to the Quest where Zetheron puts you in charge of an assault force; that comes a while later.

As I've mentioned on this Forum, I've played through the game several times. This time I got a quest I haven't seen before -- Berak in Goldcrag asks you for a Titan War Club. Help me out? Do I have to head back to the Jereth Deeps where I fought the Ogres, or is it somewhere else?

If you can't see them how do you know they exist?

If she escapes down the mineshaft in the Warrens, is there a way to kill her there or do you have to wait until the Jereth Deeps?

While looking for Abi to finish up the Tartam quest, I realize I've never found Neray either. Is she in that spot across the river in Kva Lands, perhaps, that I don't know if there's a way to get to?

Zepherine is NOT easier than Redbeard. I couldn't possibly have beaten Zeph even at level 30 with all the best items without using the Control-D Heal and Buff cheats. Which is what I did with Redbeard after my 1st time through the game. Why not? That's what they're there for.

The character who gives you the "Deal With Tartam" quest. After you learn that Tartam is an Eye and return to Avadon, Abi isn't to be found. I've played the game through several times and each time this one quest sticks out like a sore thumb. Where IS he?

Just killed the Withered Drake in the Bandit lair and realized I never got the quest from whoever wants the egg. Who is that?

I need to know where Orian is to be found to kill him. Someone on here told mehe could be found in the Bandit Roads when it's time to kill him, but I haven't seen him anywhere.

The book the shaman wants -- haven't found it anywhere in his tower? Pointers please?

So, where does he go when he disappears and the Eye tells you to take him out? I'm on my second playthrough of the game -- the first time I never found him again.

What's the strategy here? Is there a way to break the thread between her and her stone guardians?

The gated area at the south end of Redbeard's level of Avadon: the Keeper's Tower. It's the only part of Avadon I can't get into at the endgame before fighting Redbeard. Is there a way in, and if so is there anything handy to take for the fight?

You get good equipment out of each of their quests, especially Shima's, which is closest to the endgame.

I just noticed the "Nathalie will be pleased" medal; I'm at the end of the game, so can't do anything about it now, but I had not idea it was possible to kill Belioch the Scourge. Someone want to clue me in?

I find it curious that everyone on the board seems to automatically equate Nathalie as combat mage. If your main character is also a sorceress, there's no reason you can't make your own PC the combat-heavy mage and stock Nathalie up in Haste, Slow, Arcane Shield, etc. Or is there something I don't know?

Am just about to start the Redbeard fight after reading the long post on here about how long it takes. I'm already intimidated...

Is he to be found in the Beraza Woods or the Beraza Pits? Looks like no characters give you info about him, and I get the feeling I'm not going to find him unless I ask around on here.

Okay, what's the deal here? No secret switches on the walls, nothing in the main chamber. How do I get past the infinitely recurring corridors to find him and Nathalie?

Will someone tell me where I go to hunt Orian after telling the Eye in the Kellem castle about him? Wandering around the woods where he disappeared gets nothing.
