  1. The guardians heal the dragon only when in range. I just lured her to the SE corner of the map, before she activated any guardians. By the time backup arrived, it was too late.
  2. I didn't reach Solberg yet. So I won't buy yet. At these prices, I cannot afford a lot anyway.
  3. Hi, I see in Matt P's walkthrough quite different prices for Shanker's training - 300-400c. She's asking me 1000-1200 for the magic skills. Is there something I missed ?
  4. The timescale could be different. It isn't a few hundred days - it takes many years to advance through unsettled lands and build cities. Maybe the party starts to grow old - lose some strength, gain some wisdom.
  5. Somehow one of my shades is missing: both Formello and Silvar have the Shade of Ice. If I kill it in one of the towns, both towns are happy and shade-free. But Correlea only counts it once, so I cannot close the quest. Which shade belongs where? In Blosk and Dharmon I have the Shade of Terror. My oldest save is in Mertis - already both towns had the Shade of Ice but I didn't notice... I completely avoided the shade in Formello, so I never got the message "You are near what was once a lovely park". In Silvar on the other hand I met the shade , for the shade experiment quest - sorry, I don't remember what shade I fought. I guess the Shade of Ice because when I get now near it, there is no introduction pop-up.
  6. Quote: The First Expedition would work wonderfully as a Myth-like game (or a Myth 2 mod) and the settlement of Avernum by the first exiles would make a good standard build, recruit, and conquer game. This would also make a very good A5. A growing world where the adventurer's deeds shape the future.
  7. Yeah, I too miss group haste. A lot of monsters know it, why not the good guys? Something else I miss (for a looong time): ambidextrous. There are so many nice swords and I want to use them all.
  8. Very well balanced. I liked the tough battles - the ones that force you to find a winning strategy. Globally, the right difficulty for the average gamer. Right now I'm playing a mage/priest singleton (who said you need a tank singleton?). It's tough - some bosses are very difficult, especially the ones that charm you... but you can still beat them.
