I be interested.

I like the idea of a character sheet helps set the standard for what the characters are capable of. The one thing I might like a bit more leeway with is choosing the backstory of mortal characters. I like a bit more options then just a village full of hobbits

I have seen it done in the Escape velocity series where they would use the name you gave them as well as your designated gender.

I'm aware of the danger and the fact that they can hold a charge for an indefinite period time.

 

Also heard from somewhere that they can actually get a charge even when not plugged in. Not sure if that true though

thanks almost forgot about the capacitors used for the flash in disposable cameras

I have seen this one but homemade capacitors make me uneasy as most capacitors hold enough of charge to be lethal. Ones made in factories have qualified electrical engineers add safety features that only intentional vandalism can overcome. My idea is that figure out what the capticane is on the home made ones are and buy equivalent factory made capacitors.

I haven't tried avernum but I have had some success getting geneforge to work on wine. Typically with minor glitches

I was looking into making one. I believe their is are some people on the forums who know tad bit more about electrical devices then I. My experience with electricity is mostly high school and fresh man college robotics which may or may not help. Have done some research on my own but just don't feel comfortable with making one myself yet

The borrowing will be forced to stop when the Chinese are no longer convinced we can pay them their money back. Being forced to stop in that manner could be potentially devastating to American and the world in general.

1. Your asking a large number of people to give up a way of life they have always know. Good luck with that.

 

2. Many of the racist people may view tea party as good way to push their agenda.

 

Ultimately I agree with the tea party one main thing and that is a government should not spend more then brings in.

 

I disagree with them on taxes a little bit. High taxes or low taxes are not necessarily good or bad. If government raises taxes above a certain point, businesses have less money to put back into expanding their businesses, people start hiding money from the IRS, and people just generally become less motivated to become better.

 

So as far as taxes its a balancing act keeping them high enough to pay for the a effective government and low enough it doesn't stifle the economy.

 

Also to legally protest with a firearm it must be unloaded and I have hear of incidents of successful peaceful protest done by black people with fire arms.

 

In conclusion the tea's party original motivations may have been pure but they have been corrupted by hate groups and politicians looking to woo potential voters.

not that I'm no intrested in reading it I'm just a bit to lazy to go and hunt it down at the local libary

something that tall wouldn't live for very long. Let me give you an example humans ideal height is about 5-6 feet. If you get too much taller then 6 feet you start to have sever health issues that make every day life a struggle and pitched combat would be difficult. Making something 3 to 4 times the size it was meant for it probably wouldn't have any feeling in its arms or legs and bones would crumble under their own weight.

interesting about blood shaping its never really been covered in geneforge but its not to fare of a stretch for one to be able to substitute essence for blood kinda of surprised some shaper or drakon with less then stellar morals hasn't tried this

Mostly lurk and only occasionally post I find a lot of the threads here interesting but find myself to lacking too contribute much. Although I usually drag myself out for the occasional rp

My understanding is Jeff more interested in making it easier to buy his software then it is to pirate it. Also I imagine he puts it their in case another company tries to rip his software he has want he needs for a law case. I doubt he sue if you downloaded a demo of his decide it wasn't for you and just forget about it on your computer.

I could see a TV show working possibly but its highly unlikely that Jeff going to give up rights. You see most people in that line of business have expensive lawyers. If Jeff ever has a dispute over how his material is used or where the money goes to, well chances are it won't end well for him.

I'm gonna have to try becoming an enemy with every single faction in the game.
