  1. Settings, there is a note at the top of the forum asking for people to outline their question in the topic title. If you tried to do that, it would be a lot easier on the forum. For example, you could have called this topic 'A3 spell locations' to give people some idea of what you wanted to know. -E-
  2. Demonslayer and the Adamantite Axe almost certainly don't appear in E3: the question's popped up numerous times before and no-one's ever got them without the Editor. If there are any others you want help with, name them specifically and chances are someone will know how to get them; if not, they probably can't be got. -E-

(of course its just a game blah blah... but i always try to play games like i live my life.) So in real life you don't care about killing innocent people, and in fact find it quite fun? Please tell me where you live, so that I can avoid it. -E-
  4. At the time I had one very tanked-up fighter and a couple of mediocre mages and priests, so I just stood him next to the slug to make sure it targetted him and then poisoned it until it was taking ~30 damage every other turn. -E-
  5. Find the place where the grass and trees are. South from there is a room with lava at the right-hand side, iirc. There is a secret door along the south wall of that room (the lava one). -E-
  6. Voldemort, why do you think that shooting from behind something limits your range? The highest range of any projectile (give or take for wind) is attained when it is shot at 45 degrees above the horizontal. At that angle, you'll clear a horse from anywhere above half a meter behind it. It's when you shoot horizontally, as you seem to want to do, that the arrow goes almost no distance. Also, the game does contain instant death nodes. Several people are apparently able to create them, including Erika. And who is going to be creating this virus? Which race is advanced enough to reprogram not just their reality but the operating system their reality exists in? Oh yes, none of them. -E-
  7. I don't think there is anywhere, but if you do the Monastery of Madness quest (IIRC it's started by staying the night at the inn in Loreli), then you get the recipe for the Knowledge Brew. You can buy one of the ingredients from the priest in the town with all the undead on that island off the south coast, and the other from the hermit on the hidden island off the south-east coast. I've been vague on purpose, because that's a whole lot of questing for you to do and I don't want to write a page-long spoilery walkthrough. -E-
  8. Calm down, Weedy, calm down. -E-
  9. Why did you use the plural form correctly for every single option except for the Nephil? Is this some special way of showing contempt for them? -E-
  10. You missed what RC said about Japanese having multiple subsets of characters. It has three-hiragana, katakana, and kanji, and you'd probably need to get hold of a decoder for each one to be on the safe side. -E-
  11. True. You could argue that this belongs in General rather than Tech Support, and it probably would have been more logical to have posted it there, as more people would have noticed. However, on the subject of Zephyr's game...either upload it or e-mail it to me, I can't exactly diagnose your problem from here... -E-
  12. FB, the CoC is not the be-all and end-all of posting norms. You don't actually have to quote it every time there's a slight infringement. That said, I agree with the principle: it would be nice if such petty arguments were kept off the boards. Even nicer if they didn't happen at all, but you can't have everything. And the sounds: Either there's a problem with your computer's sound hardware/software, (unlikely unless you've experienced similar problems in other games, in which case very likely) or there's something wrong with the sound files. Backing up savegames and reinstalling never hurt anyone... -E-
  13. Well, a problem with RPG Maker, especially like the one you describe, is likely caused by a mistake in coding-somewhere you told something to go left and the command wasn't defined the way you wanted, so it's now mucking everything up. If I were you, I'd learn to use BoE. It'd be a much better investment of time than RMK. -E-
  14. That happened to me with Geneforge, and the problem went away with more RAM. This appears to be because I have Windows ME, which likes to have lots of resources available before it agrees to co-operate with the user... -E-
  15. Quote: Originally posted by Terrors Martyr: If it was going to be done, it would have to be in the 5th century after the ROmans leave and the Saxons arrive. However, the problem is that this is the period the historical Arthur lived if he existed at all, and Nethergate 2 as some Arthurian piece of crud is not something I want to see. Read The Mists of Avalon. It is possible to create a good Arthur-based storyline, even if it is overused. -E-
