P.S. - Cleavage isn't so nice when you're on the receiving end, and this gets a bit nasty by late game. It will encourage you to space your party members away from one another in many fights.

True, alas. I lobbied to have enhanced items reflect a shift in value. Eventually you may want to sell off older gear that isn't so useful anymore. If you enhanced it, it should be worth more naturally. Maybe Jeff will include this in Av2.
On an extremely happy note, due to continual harassment by, if not others, at least myself, for three games in a row now, we at last have a junk bag to facilitate quick sales of lots of loot (as well as making more room in our inventory for useful things to carry around.) It drove me nuts having to click on the corner of object in inventory literally thousands of times during a game just to sell things and get what you really want—money.

There are a decent number more drake skins available in the game than you will probably want to use.

It may have only been a temporary cheat at one point during beta-testing to test the usefulness of this bow for magicians. It is a very good bow, indeed. Looks like you'll have to get it the normal way, however. I'm removing that cheat from the list.

The base value for most quests is 100xp
Reading books gives 50 xp
Opening locked doors & disarming traps gives ? xp
Lockpicking is denoted as follows: "door - 1@L4" means you will need 1 lockpick if you have 4 levels of lockpick skill invested in one of the PCs in your party. If the door is a known quantity of lockpicks exactly, the number ("door - 3") will simply be listed. The amount of skill needed to open a door is basically 1 level of skill = 1 lockpick. Randomizer's "Traps and Locks" list breaks it down exactly how it works.
KEEP: arcane scrolls (for a quest), drake skins (for a quest), runestones (for use on anvils)
KEEP your spare PCs all best equipped they can be, including spare scarabs, because you never know when you might be using their services in your party, and even if you never plan to choose them.

Tyranicus, I am confident you would have enjoyed the "Dinosaurs!" mod. The problem with computer games compared to, say, a board game or a book, is that when you get nostalgic, it's really hard to go back and revisit old favorites for fun.
I still play Civ III mods, though the vanilla game is too boring for me to play undoctored. I play the fullblown Ancient Mediterranean mod and the Camelot! mod in particular. You get some dinos in the Warhammer Fantasy mod, come to think of it. You get a mounted dino rider called a "Cold One." They're very bitey.
Oh, and dragons too. They're insanely powerful endgame units.

Points go to Skomer. Little known is that Tintin was a good bit of the inspiration for the Raiders of the Lost Ark film. See "Prisoners of the Sun" in particular to see some uncanny resemblances. I loved these books as a kid. Apart from the first two rather embarrassing Tintin books from the 30's, Tintin wasn't particularly any more racist than other period material of western origin. But they were the comic book series that made me laugh out loud more than anything else I read in my childhood. There are a lot of cultural references to Tintin that seem to have outlived familiarity with Tintin himself. Thompson Twins, the group, being one.

Consider the amount of waste that occurs in dualistic (duelistic) politics. Much more is achieved through collaboration and cooperation than through competition. Yet A vs. B politics has for quite some time been perpetual and predictable. To solve the unprecedented crises of this century, I think we're going to have to find a common vision and get on with being one nation working together and get over this left versus right mindset. Right now, we're really shooting ourselves in the foot with all the focus on opposing and sabotaging the other party's efforts. America is obsessed with competition and has taken it to an unhealthy extreme. Observe our reality television for a discomforting look at how much we worship fighting each other tooth and nail for a prize.

Alorael, how did you miss out on the opportunity to assign your own title when we did the UBB upgrade? I seem to vaguely recall you declining to title yourself at that time on principle, but I think I know the real reason—it's like when two people who are never quite romantically involved on a series TV show for years finally break the sexual tension and get together, and then it all gets so boring after that. If he ever finally got a custom title, Alo would lose his identity of The Protester of Many Names with no title.
