  1. I scanned my comp, and indeed, i have no viri. You should open a normal mail account, not from Hotmail, then you'll be able to recieve files normally. Try Yahoo or Gmail.
  2. Hmm, i sent you the wrong file, then. I'll try to figure out the right one and send it. Edit: File sent. I belive it's the right one now.
  3. File sent. Enjoy your stay at Sucia Island, and feel free to visit me at the Servile Outpost area.
  4. Thancue. So where does the pylon i missed in the Junkyard stand? I walked all over the place, and the only one i found is as mentioned, and it's not "touchable".
  5. Aight, just gimme the name, class, and stats of the character you wanna play {you create the char before the actual game starts}, and i'll make it for you, and send you the save-file.
  6. Does the alegiance you hold at the end of the game affect the ending? I've been an Awakened one throughout the game, always acting as one, and did with the geneforge what Elhra told me to: used it, then broke it. Well, the ending isn't what i hoped for, but atleast the Awakened got theyr independance and equalty {and later, what's left of the Takers follows suit, for some reason}. Then i wanted to check out the other endings. I used the "ihateseserviles" code, went to the Obeyers' leader, BSed my way out of the Control Four issue, and got accepted into the sect. I went back to the boat as an Obeyer {is that just me, or a shaper calling himself an obeyer is just wrong from any angle you look at it?}, and left the island as before. The ending does not change: The shapers still hate me, i still end up being a tyrant, the Awakened still have theyr way, the Takers are still defeated and calm down, and the Obeyers are still wiped out after joining the shapers. Just like it was when i left the island as an Awakened one. So does being an Obeyer change nothing {from being an Awakened one}, unless you abstain from using the geneforge before destroying it? And does it work the other way around {would an Awakened one get the Obeyers' ending if he disobeyed Elhra and crushed the Geneforge without using it}? I also wanna try finishing with a Taker alegiance, but in central Kazg they attack me on sight, ever since i used the Geneforge. I tried the cheats, but it didn't help calm them down. Can i appease them in any way that'll make them take me? Or will it change nothing if i do? Is there any sort of difference between Trajkov's agenda and the Takers'? Is it possible to talk to talk to the peaceful Sholai after using the Geneforge? My char seems to loose controll near them... Oh, and another thing: In another thread, someone gave the order in which the pillars with the smooth-worn wpots should be touched in order to access the temple in Spirit City. It lists the Junkyard, but this area doesn't seem to have a pillar of that sort - the only one it has is the one in a secluded cave at the W, and it has no touching option. So is the instruction in the other thread incorrect, or did i actually miss the Junkyard's pillar? Is so, where is it?
  7. I didn't get it - what's the question? :=S I'm sort of a noob myself, but i'm sure helpping you would be much easier if you actually said what is it you need help with.
  8. f5 Ok, while calling it spam is quite harsh, i do accept. Still, was my question about the Junkyard area also asked before? Or is no one answering that one for a different reason?
  9. Only three replies, other than mine? Is that it? Is this place DEAD? C'mon, gimme more votes; and while you're at it, answer my question about the junkyard in the Temple thread.
  10. Quote: Originally written by Learned Noremac: In order to enter the temple, you have to touch these pilons in a certain order. This order is(these are the areas that the piloms are in): Drayk's vale, Ancient Crypt, Diarazad, Junkyard, Dry Wastes, Western Wastes, Valley of the Wind, and then the one right outside the temple. Wait, did you say Junkyard? :=S The only pillar at the junkyard is the one in a secluded cave to the west, and it's not of the touchable type, so... is there a pillar i didn't find?
  11. Which faction have you joined? Was ot for the benefits, or the ideology?
  12. Hmm, say... if the baton from the western workshop opens those, maybe the one from the souther workshop has a similar "extra' to it as well? Any door you can open with it but not with the one from the west?
  13. Arrrgh! Not fair! :={ I already got the entry baton from the southern workshop! Well, as i'm not gonna start the game over because of two doors, can anypne tell me what's behind them? Also, what's an SDF?
  14. The sealed lab is quite obvious: there's a control panel just SE of where the naughty necroshaper stands. But there's indeed atleast one area, where two doors have no key, no controll panel, no servant mind, and no bloody levers, either! I'm talking about Icewalls here. There's a door in the NW corner, leading to the west, and a building at the SW, with a door in its southern wall. Neither of these opens, no matter what. Anyone has an idea? Or should i email Jeff?
  15. Zeviz: Well, some still don't seem to have a key, and theyr owners neither open them upon theyr quest's completion, nor offer further quests. Regarding the spores, that's what i thought, but they don't seem to work in most cases. Brown ones sometimes, rarely, work on the weaker, white kind; green ones never worked on anything i tried them on so far. Marlenny: Leadership? Heh, knew i forgot something. It's 5... how far should i raise it? Will the three ranks i can get in it from one level suffice {making it 8}? Also, is the spy in Kazg someone specific, or can i actually frame different people, once i have the required eladership points?
  16. And what are the effects of a higher level for a creation? Do they really justify the base essence cost being more than doubled?
  17. Artila. Nothing beats my artilae. Nothing I can make, that is. Enemies still crush my artilae, but not as quickly as they crush the other things i create. And i can;t figure for the life of me what advantage is a Searing Artila supposed to have over a usual Artila? From my experience, it only requires much more essence, but brings no more use than an Artila. There's one more person who voted like me - whozzat?
  18. Quote: Originally written by Thuryl: How far into the game are you? Well, lessee: I cleared most of the south, solved virtually every sidequest i could find so far {except the spy in Kazg - i have many serviles i'd frame, but the option doesn't appear in my conversation with Alga}, and the game has just become very difficult for me, whereas untill now it was just perfect. Now i'm mostly scavanging around, looking for settlements, canisters and quests. I'm playing a gueadian, btw, and am starting to regret it: I could really use more essence and better magical skills {what's the point of having a huge score for a given spell, from canisters, if you lack the skill-level to cast it?} Quote: 8 mechanics isn't really adequate for a serious mechanics-based character; go for at least 12, maybe even more, and get it as soon as possible. If you're the kind of player who absolutely has to clear every area, you'll need high Mechanics. My next level's skillpoints will go into that, then. But even then, those levers that now require some 20-30 tools to unlock will still be a problem, no? Quote: Also, if a lock requires an unreasonable number of living tools to open, look around for a key to it before using those tools. How much should i consider unreasonable? I do look for keys, and my special items list is full of keys that seem to open nothing at all {the School key, for example}. You know that little bastard who breeds batons? When i brought him a female {:=P} submission baton, he was all like "Take anything you find here!", but when i waste all my living tools on his the lever to his back room, and go to Pentil to buy more tools - he uses my absence to change the lock! {i mean the number of tools required was reset} Quote: If all else fails, use tools on the offending lock until you only need a few more tools to unlock it, then cast Unlock (assuming you can cast Unlock). My unlock spell works on stuff that needs 1-3 tools, but 5 is already an obstacle {haven't tested on one that needs 4 yet}, so it's not much help. Btw, while i'm asking questions already: What are green spores for? Brown spores sometimes {rarely} send mines off, but the green ones seem completely useless...
  19. Is that just me, or do shops on Sucia never restock? I'm aspecially in need of curing and healing stuff, and of living tools. {There's all those doors going "it should take about 98475 living tools to open it", my mech skill is 8 now}
  20. I have a similar problem here: the game doesn't deny being registered, and the new zones are marked with theyr respective images instead of the questionmarks they had before the registration; but trying to enter either of them crushes the game. Even merely leaving an old zone, in a direction that revals one of the new, crashes the game.
