Am trying A2. Can open and unlock doors but can't close them. What is the trick? Thanks

Where is it? I have areas around Silvar explored and all areas in Silvar both above ground and underground except for area where bad spirit is and no pylon. I had no problem finding Cotra Pylon. Is my game corupted? Also every now and then I get black horizontal-diagonal streaks. These don't do any harm but this is only place this happems. Finally if I post I get into an endless loop returning me to my post (Windows XP) I can I get out of this without leaving Spiderweb board? Tia.

I have a slith fighter, slith priest nephil archer and nephil mage. A male and female in each pair. I find they are happier travelling together. Mage has the skill that enhances picking locks as well as mage enhancer. Priest has in addition to priest enhancer ,divinely touched. She advances much slower--in Early Eastern Shores she is an 8 vs 9 and 10's for others. But she fights rreasonably well with spear and shoots well. Divine touch is very powerful and worth the exp penalty. Please excuse any misnaming of game elements. I may be the oldest woman playing this game and may be descending into senility.

Thanks for the quick replies. And they helped me find them. The older saves are in the My Documents folder. Have no idea why Druid saves went to the desktop. I can move them to My Documents and search for the druid or gremlin which changed the save as path.

I finished the four vendor scenarios with a party in the low 30's. I dl'd some senarios and tried A large Revolution which was too buggy. Next tried Druids. This scenario starts ok. I saved several times. Unfortunately Druids eliminated my BoA save files including some scenario ends and places its saves on my desktop. BoA now points to those saves and there are no saves in the BoA directory. Can I get Druids to save in the BoA folder and can I get my other save folder back? I am running Windows XP with Norton Utilities and Go Back. The files should be in the recycle bin but since there is no valid directory I can't access them. Any help? FYI I am older and completely non-techie on personal computers.

Where is this kept? I can find and load my save as files but not the plain save. Thanks in advance.

Thanks guys for the advice. How do I know if an item needs to be identified? So far my group knows what things are -- for example the gold ring and its value. The interface is difficult at first though I have played GF 3. I restarted with a custom group and will have to see how they fare. In peace, Alma

Just started playing demo of A3. Have lots of things to sell but Levy won't buy. I just get the have nothing to sell dialog. So far things are of little value except for a silver and a gold ring.

Lankan will take the canister if you have it. You have no option to refuse. If you want to keep it, you must talk to him before taking the canister. Since Shirin is loyalist, I had to go back to a save prior to taking the canister.

I am playing windows demo. Agent got spell power at pools. Restarted with Shaper and get no essence at pools in either lower or upper school, or from the refresher item given by npc. Hence at level 3 has to essence only. What am I doing wrong? Or do I have a corrupted object program? This my first playing of any geneforge game and will probably register after a bit -- that is if I can get Shaper essence updated. At moment I have one useful shaper with me.
