Hello, I recall in G2 there was a key command to bring up a window that says something like How can I help you? or whatever and you can type in Iwanttobestronger to gain experience or dbugkill to get rid of your opponents on that level. What is it for G1? I need to get through it fast and am not interested in playing through it AGAIN I just need to map out the board so I can figure out where everything is. I lost my original game I was almost finished with so I can't refer back to that. Thanks

I'll play around to see the different endings. I liked the ending when I helped the Awakened. Was about what I was looking for to end with that "warm and fuzzy" feeling TTYL Nijojo

You know I found Heust to be a blessing in MOST instances. He's pretty darned good with a baton. The only time I found it to be kind of difficult is when I would use combat mode to move through a harmful place (something that had energy or chemicals in the air). They'd come running to the rescue and get their silly selves killed! (I had three at one time). I guess the reason that was so troublesome was because I tried too hard to keep everyone alive. Nijojo

Vlish, I was role playing. I tried to stay true to the Awakened but it quickly became evident that I couldn't get the power to beat anything without joining other sects so I did. I joined them and helped them, got their secrets, got more powerful, and crushed them! I did that all for the Awakened, but when I tried to help them- killed all their enemies, couldn't gain their favor. Besides after one ending I'd like to see others. Is there another ending for non-canister users? Thanks Nijojo

Hello all, Okay, I've finished Geneforge 2 twice now with different endings. I have killed Barzhal and Eass and Akkat (guess I should kill Rhakkus, too). That ending sort of stunk. (Zackary is dead, too). The Barzite ending also kind of stunk. I haven't tried the Taker ending, but I imagine that's going to be fairly grim, too. Anyway, I'm trying to get back into favor with the Awakened, but Pinner won't consider me now. Never mind the fact I've done a bunch of nice things for them. *sigh* oh well. She says I need to talk to more people. How many people do I need to talk to before she likes me? I want to set things right with the Awakened so they aren't crushed in the end. I've already used Learned Darien so I don't have that option. Advice please. Thank you. Nijojo

Friendly rat don't remember where that was at (marshes?) but I do remember running across it. I am about 95% certain I killed that Thahd. I also found an abandoned Battle Alpha in the marshy area (north of Medab) but told it to kill itself and it did. Does that one join you? Nora I don't remember, but the first one I picked up was Heust so I know I didn't use him/her. Nijojo

Okay another question for you- Why won't it let me shape another critter? Says I can only have 4 creations. I have 5 right now, but only 2 are mine. I thought I could have up to 7. Is it something to do with intelligence or leadership? My leadership is pretty high (I guess) it is around 12 depending on what I'm equipped with. Intelligence I think is around 10. I already have Drayks which I didn't need to pay for so I guess it doesn't matter now Thanks Trish Nevermind- it won't let me have more than 4 TYPES of creations. Whatever for??

Hello, I'm at the point where I can't really get any further without joining a faction. So I figured I'd join everything else then last the Awakened (if possible). I know Learned Darien can help convince people I am what I say I am, but only once. Who is easier to convince? The Barzites (those opposed to servile independence) or Takers and Awakened? What I mean by that is who is easier to convince without using Darien's help? How many people do you have to talk to until they believe you? I joined the loyalists and was pretty disappointed with what they have to offer. So far there is a lot of stuff for the Barzites but not sure it's worth it yet. Couple more questions- Will I lose anything cool by killing Phariton? Will I anger the Takers if I fight my way through Benerii-Uss? Also- Hermit Crossroads remains red on my screen, as does the area right below it. I've done everything I can see to do- what am I supposed to do to clear it? Is there something I'm supposed to do in that dump to keep animals for appearing? Getting tired of those Roths. Thanks Nijojo

I think one is missing- Alpha Hryk. I have both him and Heust on my team right now. (I like Heust) I have forgotten all about the roamer- will have to go find it. My luck I killed the Vlish. Where is that at? I have a tendency to kill any animals that aren't mine (unless in a village). (added later- I now have the roamer as well) Nijojo (Spoilers- maybe) P.S.- where to find these guys- the roamer is found on the left side of the Warren of the Three (in the area that you fight Eko Blade) inside a room. Alpha Hryk (battle alpha) is found in Phariton's area (you need fairly high leadership). Xander is found in the Magus Complex (or thereabouts). Heust I *think* was in the Misfits area (though don't remember). I haven't found the Vlish.

Just wondering if anyone knows of a cheat code that just gives you more money? I'm scrounging around right now picking up all the sellable stuff I can find but most of it is just pocket change. The few good things worth $$ I can find I want to keep. LOL. Also, someone told me to try the dbugkill cheat if the game got too difficult but I have not done so yet. Exactly what does this do? Is it possible to be with more than one? Like play two sides of the board and then doublecross one in the end? I think I am too much a person of principle to join the takers. Even the Barzites with their promise of awesome canisters so far don't tempt me. By principle I like the Awakened best (although I get so sick of "What your kind did to us" when it was never ME who did it!) Nijojo

I can't even shape a drayk yet and I'm at level 37? But then, I did kind of (cough cough) cheat on that I remember seeing there was a book that taught me how to do it but at the time I was reading it I believe I was too dumb to understand it. (LOONG time ago) Probably at the Magus complex?? Anyhow- the final thing boils down to this- is it worth the effort to try and kill the gazer? Basically- the stuff he's guarding- worth the trouble? not sure if I got the name right but those who have met these I'm sure know what I'm getting at. How do you deal with those big critters with all the eyes? I'm level 33 now and this silly Gazer knocks me down in 2 hits- also my clawbug with over 200 hp. Soooo... how do you get them first? (I'm at infected crossroads). At this point, is this thing even worth my time to try? Nijojo

What's the reward of going on principle and joining the Awakened or Shapers? I have a hard time joining groups that I'd rather squash- rewards or not... I had to turn Zachary down. I prefer to join the Awakened but have been given quests to prove my worth (yet to complete). Nijojo

Aaah okay. What I've found is that clawbugs deliver ruthless blows but of course only short range. Using your little trick mine is now around level 22 and takes down ghosts easily and does a good job against golems too. Getting better. I still only have 66 hp so can't do much. Problem is the clawbug is the most expensive critter I have right now in means of essence. but I've tried all the ones I can make so far and to this point it has been the best in close range combat. You're probably right about the range thing, but I usually take care of that (depending on what it is) using range weapons of my own. Or, I let the clawbug go in and kill off what it can then I go in and clean up. Course, now that mine is leveled up so high I'm a little more protective of it! When I get enough essence to sustain more than one creation I might try meself a Vlish again. Thanks Nijojo

I will try that. Thank you very much. Not sure why you like Vlish so much, though. I've used them to little avail. They seem to be very weak physically... Guess that's why I'm partial to the clawbug- but it's worthless for long distance attacks. I can make a Cryoa now, though. Thanks. Will update Trish P.S. Those things down south that you were referring to- those wouldn't happen to be acid sprayers would they? I found me a lot of those- one spot has about 6 in there and I can't disarm em fast enough. *sigh*
