  1. Well, I have two reasons for this new topic. One, I need some names. Two, I'm sure there are some other people who also have trouble with that particular aspect. I am currently looking for Slitherazakai names, feel free to post any suggestions (but not Ssslinki, it sounds way too much like those wonderfull little toys)
  2. Same response. The bubble is still on one of my guards. Is the number I insert the same as the character ID from the editor? New Question: If I have a teleporter in a town, how do I get it to teleport the party to a different town?
  3. Close, but I'm guessing one of my problems is what is the get_ran command, isn't that only for the actual timing of the bubble?   5. Dear bigblue, if your post wasnt all the way at the top I would have noticed your bad grammar, on the other hand I have college and work to deal with, so don't really have the time to do both.
  6. Depends on several factors, however I'm making more of a game then scenario. It will probably end up being 7x6 outdoor and about 60 more or less towns. New Problem: When I assign a text bubble to char 16 thats the ID that is in the editor correct? or no? I assigned one of my sliths to have F*&^%ing Scripting above him just as a test run but it puts it on a guard instead of my test creature, anyone got the solution to this?
  7. I was using textedit though thats been giving me problems, Now I am using Microsoft Word, and saving under text only format, seems to be working well. Before I was using textedit and saving it and then adding the txt which seemed to work for everything except town and dialogue...
  8. Dear BigBlue, I would make my own, but most of my free time is currently tooken up by scripting millions of stupid words and numbers. It's much easier to send a couple posts to see if anyone else has or has the incentive to give me some pics. Beyond that I am no expert at 3D design, and I'm hoping to find some proffesional looking ones (like BOA's originals at least). If these posts gain me something then they have achieved their goal. If I get nothing then maybe at one point I will, when I'm done with the scripting part.
  9. I never asked anyone to MAKE any graphics, I have merely been asking if they HAVE any graphics. If someone feels the need to make graphics, and gives them to me, fine, but I am merely searching, which is why I put up the posts.

OK I figured out the problem, Apparently it wasn't in the right format, I entered word and changed it from rich to text only, and it seems to have cleared up the problem, how it got to rich format in the first place I have no idea considering I saved it as a text only. Oh well, thanks anyays guys.
  11. Negative, I have two scripts, town named currently DamnScripting the script names are damnscripting.txt and damnscriptingdlg.txt
  12. OK, got a problem once again, I'm trying to get my town/town dialogue script down and everytime I test it it says invalid symbol on line 1. The only thing on line one is begintownscript; and begintalkscript; is there some line that starts these scripts that i'm missing? Anyone know whats going on?
  13. Any graphics that you wish to contribute would be appreciated, I'm not sure exactly what I'm going to use everything for yet, but I think I can find an application. If you want to make a Nephil, that would be nice, one thing to include would be a lithe version of the original shaman.
  14. I was not looking for how to make a creature summonable, but what each level actually means, for example, what level/skill would I need to summon a level 8 monster as compared to a level 7,6,5,4 etc...
  15. Ok had to be some problem with the preference file, I uninstalled BOA and took out the prefs, reinstalled and now it seems to be working fine, I'll reregister it tommorrow, thanks anyways...
  16. Thought of both, tried both, I'm going to try to uninstall the prefrence file and reregister to see if that will effect anything
  17. Recently I have been working on a BOA scenario. I was testing it for at least 4 days with no problems. Today (about halfway through the day) I started BOA and attempted to load a scenario. It no longer works at all. When I load ANY scenario (tutorial, valley of dying, etc) whether origanal or not, it quits unexpectedly. I am on a mac, and have never had problems with any other program. Please help me fix this problem.

I am now currently looking for custom wall graphics, I have a few but am looking in particular for ones that might go well with a barbaric slith scenario, if anyone has custom graphics that are NOT on the internet (to my knowledge) or ones that are on the internet but hard to find, please let me know

  22. Anyone know the sytem used to determine summoning class? For example what skills/level would a summon class of 9 be? Also, does anyone know if it is possible to make a creature immune to one spell? (Not the entire magic category?) For example I have a creature that I want to be immune to Capture Mind, but no others, Is this possible?

  24. I'm sorry if it offended either of you, the reason I make a new topic at all is because secondary account #1 called me a moron, and seemed to hate when I make new topics so much. The reason that I said that to Archmagi is because he also called me a moron. Unfortunetaly neither of these people leave the computer long enough to know that sometimes people don't really think about what is most efficient or worry about what other people might say.
