Did you try reinstalling/redownloading. Or maybe the Windows version is different than the Mac version?
-
OR just get Windows. But maybe that's out of the question.

It sounds to me like you have your graphics positioned incorrectly. Are you sure that you're not leaving extra space between the graphics, each graphic is centered in it's own invisible 28x36 slot, and the first graphic is correctly positioned in the far top left corner?
You could try using a pre-made grid if it still doesn't work.

It seems to me like BoE, after years of fast-paced scenario releasing and discussion, has finally run it's course. There will continue to be a slow trickle of scenarios, and all of these will be appreciated, but sooner or later people will move on to bigger and arguably better things.
But yeah, by all means make your scenario. We look forward to it.

Reboot computer. Then if that doesn't work, reinstall.
-
Also, paying $25 for all three games is well worth it, and then some.
-
Jeff's boards aren't really the best place to get BoE scenarios anyway. Just ignore them.

Yep, and make sure you use the .meg file and have it named the same as the scenario file and have both files in the BLADSCEN folder.
-
This is also a case where the title fits very nicely, if I do say so myself.
Anyway, yeah, "purc" stands for "purchase".

Ya, only in my game, I never encountered the *cough*ghost*cough*. But my brother did, though, so anyway.
-
Does the Alien Blade really have something to do with *cough*H's*cough*M*cough*? That's what my brothers say, but I've never got it.
Also, what is that 2-shaped lava thing in the mountains around the Defiled Crypt?
-
However, I think some scenarios are just rated R so the player can't say it "shouldn't have been PG", though it's not really R. Analogous to setting beginning scenarios on Very High party level to prevent enemy HP doubling.

Have you not played Avernum 4, Ben?
It has vambraces, which essentially are armored pants. -
And on a side note, I wonder why Jeff couldn't make armored pants to go with the chain mail. Avernum V idea, maybe?

Yeah, but a grid works better, and there's no intricate one-pixel mouse locations.

But with Windows you have more features and capability.
-
Yes, that's probably how it is. Maybe. I just know Jeff is much more a Mac fan than a PC fan.
-
Yeah. It's one of those games where you have to play it before you really get hooked on it.
Party Showdown?
in Blades of Exile

I think Jeff should have added a feature to BoE where you can have a battle between two parties. That way, you can prove to your neighbors that you party is indeed better than theirs. Then he could even but it online. ...Well maybe not that, but anyway.
Any thoughts?
