  1. Well it looks like Magical Efficiency is REALLY, REALLY bugged. Seems some spells are not effected at all, and some are. I edited my ME up to level 41, and spells like divine retribution cost no energy every time I cast it. On the other hand some spells always cost the full amount ( divine fire, icy rain, arcane blow ). A level 41 MEF is possible, although probably a waste.
  2. With 20 in magical efficiency arcane blow still takes 25 energy every time. Every other spell I cast doesn't use the full amount, but arcane blow is always 25 energy. Is this a bug?
  3. Ok thanks. Never knew about the shift click thing. Was actually trying that but was holding shift after I already had the item on my cursor. You gotta hold shift before you click. You'd think it would be listed somewhere in the manual but it isn't

If you gave her more then 10, just give her enough to reach the next 10, like if you gave her ( or is it him? ) 19, she should give you a 1 reward, then give her 1 more crystal and you can get the second reward. I just gave her another 5 crystals and got my second reward, then gave her 17 more for my third. So I should get the fourth when I give her another mined crystal.
  5. I want to split up my mined crystals into stacks of 10 to give to Vheltana. I gave her 22 and she only gave me one reward ( the guide says she gives you a reward every 10 ) So I want to do this 10 at a time so I don't run out of mined crystals

  7. Ya i deleted all my old chars and added new ones, so I have a party completely of new ones and it still says "you don't learn anything new". One time only I guess.
  8. woops sorry my mistake I had to de-gease first. But the anama book that gives steel skin + mass heal + mass cure ( and one other ) only worked for me once
  9. In the lower level when you get de-geased, I have 4 characters with 16 lore and when I read the book it says I dont have enough lore. Also as a side note I read one of the books in anama once and cannot learn anything new from it even if I have characters who have not read it.
  10. So what exactly happens to your stats and spells when you unjoin anama?
  11. I was wondering if one could join just for the spells and then leave the order. Do I have to attack them or something? Also I noticed my stats went through a major change, I think my mage skill got transfered to my priest skill and I got like a +3 bonus to magical efficiency.
  12. I was wondering about how good control person was. I know you can get control person really early if you pump someone up to 20 tool use. Just to be safe I went the mage route. I just got the better version of summon at Solbergs tower, well see how this does. This is my first time through the game and I am rushing through just doing enough to get to the next area, well see how it goes.
  13. I am playing a singleton mage and minor summoning 2 x fire lizards tore up Persephone ( 3rd or so ambush in chapter 2 ). Each shooting 2 x fireballs for 50 or so damage will clear enemies real quick. Just haste and bless them and they are instant fighters, who are way stronger then any fighter you could have at that point. Its only on normal diff but still I think this could be the way to go for anyone struggling with a singleton game.

  18. I play a similar party. Except I use a slith with elite warrior + DT for my melee'er because the best melee weapons are polearms. Why you would use a nephil for melee is beyond me, you might as well use a bow since they get better bonuses and bows will do the same damage ( unless your using a stick?? ).

  22. As much as the bow skill anyway. Seems only half as effective. I have been running around with a 10 dex nephil with 2 in bows and 3 in sharpshooter, and he regularly does half - 2 / 3 the damage of my 2 nephils with 2 dex and 10 in bows and 1 in sharpshooter ( all using cavewood bows ). I was under the impression that dex, bow skill, and sharpshooter all increased the damage with bows by the same amount, but its clearly not the case in my experience.
  23. Why don't you guys just test it yourselves instead of telling me I didn't get the results I got. If armor really did reduce damage by the listed percent EVERY TIME then I would never have got hit for 11 damage when I was wearing leather armor. NEVER. Its simple math. I don't see why you persist on your beliefs that "Jeff said this so it must be the way it is". Based on my results, which I trust, he was either wrong or you misunderstood what he said.
