Tenderfoot Thahd

Tenderfoot Thahd (2/17)

  1. Just an update that in my version, Brigid trains Arcane Lore and Nature Lore (no Cave Lore)
  2. Where can I get trainers for Adrenaline Rush? -------------------------- Updated: Oh, I guess you are saying we can use trainers to train basic combat skills (Melee, Pole, Bow, Throw) so that we can get that Adrenaline Rush faster?
  3. Hi all, Just want to share a small graphic mod for game UIs. I just changed some UIs of the game. Some UI components haven't been updated yet (such as the screen for learning new skills), but I still hope the current updates still somewhat help you enjoy. https://www.mediafire.com/file/o905bbltv8w36i0/avernum-mod-2023-12-03.zip/file Note: images were generated by me and combined/edited by me. ------------------------------------------------ I'm not sure how to upload screenshots to our forum, so just post the link here: https://www.deviantart.com/khongbietgi/gallery/90015847/avernum-3
  4. Another question I have is: don't you worry about your strong melee fighter getting brainwashed by the mental attacks and killing the teammates? If so, when should you learn Resistance to avoid that? (usually at which level ?)
  5. Could you explain more why Mage and Priest need Melee this soon? I guess you are aiming to get Parry soon? If that is the case, it looks like you are getting Parray before Resistance, is that correct?! The thing I really want to ask is, for a magic character (Mage & Priest), I thought getting Resistance is more natural in terms of defence, so shouldn't we try to get resistance before Parry?
  6. Not sure anybody told you before @Randomizer, but I do like the last sentences in your comments ("Welcome to Spiderweb Software. Please leave your sanity at the door, ..."), they are elegantly funny.
  7. Maybe I'm asking dumb questions here, but could you help to explain it a bit more: How learning higher-tier abilities from trainers will prevent us from using skill points to improve later? I still don't get it. You mentioned "If the lower skill is capped", why are they being capped when we learn higher-tier abilities from trainers?
  8. I'm new to the game, and I actually already found "Fine Steel Waveblade" in the Fort Emergence. But just want to understand, what does "9 TU " mean?
