Way back when I first played there was an option to play music which doesn't seem to exist anymore. It was something by JS Bach right? I can't remember it has been so long.

I never got in the habit of using ranged missiles in playing exile 1-3 netergate and avernum 1-3. Assassination just doesn't work with them and it makes me sad. Ammo is so heavy too.

I've always fallen into the same group. I have 1 main melee, 1 back up with theif skills then 1 complete priest and 1 complete mage. I've never done anything different because they don't seem nearly as effective. What do you guys use?

The skull tells you where the nether spells are.

It's a really, really tough choice though. You can either: 1. get the skelie pelts with the crystal key to get key 5 2. kill sleek and use both crystal keys to get spells Unless you break your oath and kill sleek, I havn't done this.

I don't see why you wouldn't keep getting strong enough to take things, there is no level cap. There is always hero of old, too.

It says that both wealthy Celts and Romans wore chainmail, so some Celts must have used it. You can find it on celt warriors too.(after you kill them) I'd pick Bridget personally.

I figured a Roman would be easier, get some buff spells and be mostly a fighter. You would level up fast enough to cover major skills. That and 5 mana for pass portal is huge, tool use owns.

I forgot about those quests, usually I just steal the eye right away. Since Hatawaise only creates more problems I wouldn't really call her as useful..

Why do you need the NPCs to do quests? I never found them to have some huge affect on them. Romans can just get tool use instead of fairy lore, and celts.. well I always get Bridget so I wouldn't know.

I never really thought of this as a singleton game. Do any of you play it?

I just figured out what happens, and it isn't good. Ungreatful fairy.

I tried destroying it, but nothing happened. When I touched it it let the spirit thing go, and then just ended it at that.

I freed the thing in it I think, then something happened and well I really don't know. Will I meet this thing later?
