Chittering Clawbug Vox
This is my very first scenario and i'm new to the online BoA community. I'm not overly experienced but i'm very keen to continue making more scenarios. This has been a startup for me and i'm wondering if anyone would be willing to test it out, give me any tips, pointers and report any bugs. I can e-mail it to whoever would like to test it out. Garrulous Glaahk Dark Sniper
I have got your scenario, currently testing... One heads up, be sure to spell check. I have currently seen a grammatical error in the commander's dialogue at the first town.
Garrulous Glaahk Dark Sniper
The bugs I have found are all graphical. And as for tips, you could make the battles easier by 1. Lowering the levels of the lizards 2. Decreasing the quantity of enemies in encounters IMPORTANT TIP: Kindly place a reset button in the mirror puzzle room, and you can also change the ground texture. The current one looks untidy. POINTERS: The scenario was done by a level 35 two-man party, Easy. Good Luck on getting it finished. Best regards from me
Well-Actually War Trall Ishad Nha
Make sure you use Alint or Ascript. Alint is not perfect but it spots a lot of errors. An article on Alint should be made "sticky" in this forum! It has several topics in the BoA Editor forum.
Easygoing Eyebeast Jerakeen
There was actually only the one script error - pretty darn good, I thought. Yeah, I forgot to mention the missing walls in that town, Vox, but you know my opinion about it. I got that weird blue effect north of Campania, but it was momentary and didn't repeat. No idea what caused it. And as for tips, you could make the battles more interesting by 1. Raising the levels of the lizards, and varying the types 2. Decreasing the quantity of enemies in encounters FYT
Chittering Clawbug Vox
Thank you Dark-sniper. I've updated the scenario and fixed it. I'll continue adding some more depth to the scenario for it's final release! Thanks for your help! Your images almost serve as a trailer for my scenario XD
Chittering Clawbug Vox
Oh yes! The huge outdoor blue effect thing. That was caused by some script in Campania city. Because there is a teleporter which you could possibly use, I needed to change the outdoor location as you leave the town. It causes the outdoors to reload as you leave the city. You can find it in state 15, 16 and 17 of t2Campania. it looks somewhat like this: change_outdoor_location(0,2,19,6); If anyone knows how to prevent this, please let me know. Otherwise it's ok, since it isn't a fatal bug.
