Tenderfoot Thahd Tritous Caraway
on the monster advanced settings there is a setting for special classes, and something about a monster being part of a special encounter. I cant seem to figure either of these out. What I'm trying to do is to spawn a set group of monsters in a certain location in the town. In particular one of them has a special linked in to their death so it's important that it's these monsters, not just monsters of the same type. Any clues? Chittering Clawbug Italianhitman
yea, do what I did and read the info manual guide the scenario editor comes with. It helps alot.
Tenderfoot Thahd Tritous Caraway
yeah, it certainly helps a lot, learning spells is about impossible otherwise, but it hasn't got this bit in it. It explains each special encounter thing, but doesn't explain the monster properies for individual monsters, and it lacks a "how do I...." section
Hatchling Cockatrice Lilith
If you set a monster to be part of a special encounter group of a particular number, you can then call the Place Town Encounter node (or whatever its exact name is) to create that group when you need it. Easygoing Eyebeast ben4808
Yeah, and any monster to set the special class for will not appear until you do call the Place Town Encounter Node.
Tenderfoot Thahd Tritous Caraway
Cheers. I'm still somewhat new at this as you can guess. There's hell of a lot of stuff to learn to become good with the editor, I hope to get it right eventually though
