Or do you want something more granular? —Alorael, who could give an even briefer synopsis: you find that you're accidentally part of an anti-Avadon conspiracy and pick a side, with or against Redbeard. The way other things play out is fairly similar regardless of whether you kill or support 'beard: Avadon is weakened and embattled, but pulls together and there's still hope for it.
