nethergate save game corruption -- nooooooooooooooooo!

(pardon the duplicate post -- i originally put this up on the nethergate board and someone recommended i post here.)

 

So I'm playin the Celts.

 

And I got all the way up to the bit where you are going down to shadow valley fort. i get through the tunnel, walk over by this little patch of woods and theres a skeleton in there. I walk over to it and BAM -- graphics error. Then blue screen. Aaaand now my save file won't work. :-/

 

Any ideas anybody? Im so close to the end!
