Thanks, I didn't even go in the corridor with the first switch bc I didn't show in there because it was in shadow (which is pretty annoying, btw). Thanks for your help!

I'm in the exact same spot having this exact same issue. Both portcullusis are closed. Also I found the box after hitting the switch, but the box was empty, is that expected? Help!
