  1. I would like to say that I am not criticizing at all! These games are great, I remember playing the very first Exile game, it was very fun. I dont know how much help he has to create all the media etc, if I were going to do that alone I would have a big hard time. Cuz of that I wonder if we could mod the game, so talented fans with spare time could improve graphics (well, I must say I am not that talented about gfx btw...). Even Fallout 3 has received several graphic improvements by fans, I mean someone will always find a way to improve everything, that is the way linux community also works . So, if it will not cause too much trouble, and considering the development is still improving, consider implement the game in a more moddable way!! And also, some "simple effects" like that (simple in terms cuz how hard is it to be implemented and still look good? that we dont know...), can make a big difference for sure, all optional of course.
  2. I know, I know, I myself try to spend the time/effort on most important things first. Well, what about an alternative, like make living beings (and undead also), glow in someway, you know, something visual that calls attention to them. May be, increase the contrast and saturation and decrease back, in a pulsing way. Anything that makes those entities feel more visually attractive . This trick could be used also with items/chests that have usability/sellability.
  3. Hi! If possible, add some extra good looking things like the ones I mention below. Or at least, make the game moddable in a way such animations can be added later by fans, so we could one day see a beta mod with main characters/heroes animations, and wait for a later one with the mobs. 1) characters stand still animations like: - breathing - looking to the sides - cleaning weapon or clothes I mean, something (whatever it is) showing they "are alive", distinguishing them from the environment. 2) when walking from one square to another, the transition could be smooth, could add a walk step animation, something like that, even a smooth slide would look nicer than teleporting (nowadays it teleports from the previous square, avernum series). PS.: I think I may have some visual problem, if things are not moving, are still, I pratically ignore them... Or if they teleport, I get confused, dont know from where they come. Is it only me?
