Documentation suggests that the keyboard shortcut to both start and end combat is "f". When did that happen? Oh well, remapped. One small other issue - clicking on the show desktop button in Gnome causes the game to crash. But really it's pretty great for an unsupported platform. Just finishing the demo now, some money will be going Jeff's way any second. It's the first Spidweb game I've registered since BoA: I always play the demoes, but I think this one's a cut above, so good work Jeff.

Everything worked perfectly. I'm using the EsounD drivers in wine which seem to work very well for almost everything. One small oddity though; I have to click on the peace symbol to start combat and the crossed swords to end combat. The keyboard shortcuts f and e are reversed too. Is that the same for everybody?

Just thought you might like to know that the windows version of Avernum 6 is running perfectly under Wine on my Ubuntu Karmic Koala machine. It ran straight out of the box and is super fast even on this clapped out old wreck. Lovely.
