  1. I think the awakened are fools to think that the shapers will allow them to live. They are right for wanting rights but shapers will not allow what they call rogue creations to have them. Personally, i would like Zakary ally the awakened and kill the takers and Barzites. That seems like the only path that leads away from having barzhal with ridiculous powers or drayks with ridiculous powers released upon the land.

The loyalists would have to ally one side or be consumed, and they would most likely ally the Awakened/Zakary because they are less power hungry and are trying to destroy the even more rogue Barzites/Drayks/Takers. Zakary/Awakened is the lesser of the two evils to them.

  2. I would instantly jump on the Gene-Wiki bandwagon, at least it'd be good for publicity. Plus, i always find myself being corrected by members of the forum. Theres enough knowledge here that we should be able to do it. I think.

I'll make a poll to see how much support I/we/whoever has.

  3. Sorry Sleeping Dragon i think you're going to have to edit again. I'm NOT a World of Warcraft player. I play Warcraft III, an RTS (real time strategy) game, which is a big contrast to the MMORPG.

I don't even know how a test might be made to see which is stronger, as there is no PvP in geneforge. Maybe that'll be a new feature in G5...?

I wasn't aware of that, i thought it was the guardians who were supposedly easy. Good thing diki is here to be our GF wiki (i know).

  4. Jeff always puts in the game that shapers are the easiest and agents are hard, but honestly i think that guardians are the hardest. They're the class I've had the most trouble beating games with. Though quick action and parry are nice, not being able to buff one's self makes playing people who slow indefinitely hard.

  5. I don't think those are dumb ideas at all, I just don't think Jeff will do that. He will probably want to give the game a sense of finality that you obviously didn't feel with Faerie Tale Adventure. The finale is especially important when you consider that it completes 5 games worth of plotline that is dynamic. If he didnt give it a solid ending it would make all previous games trash. Well, they wouldn't be the same anymore at least.

  6. Thuryl,

Relax. Just trying to prove a point about creations in general, not "Mine are better then his." Saying that magic is better then fire is different from saying "Mine is better then yours." It's like the difference between talking about the advantages and drawbacks of different kinds of paintball guns, not my gun is more awesome then yours. At least, thats the level i tried to keep it on.

Heh. Maybe I'm an insular, highly intelligent, conniving and conceited gamer. I don't know.
  8. Gazers of course. If there was such thing as a maxed-out creation, a gazer could just stun and slow a maxed out ur-drakon to death. Gazers are also cool because of their hypnosis and control abilities over humans serviles and other creations. They also can see 360, and look pretty darn cool. I think a huge eye is more intimidating then the standard dragon monster. Intense fear is fear of the unknown friends.

  9. I could probably take them with my agent. Enough daze and speed and wands should do the trick. I could daze them and kill you before you could cast mental barrier. That is, if you even have any spells after getting 20 levels of fire shaping...

A good agent is far superior to anything else, and Magic Creatures are alot like Agents with their disabling. I'm just an Agent at heart i guess smile.
