  1. I think one strategy would be the typical mage scum strat you seem to dislike: you make all of your characters mages/priests then try to make getting return life 3 your first priority. This strategy has the additional safety net of having all of your characters learn the return life spell, so that you're not screwed if a particular one dies. It also means that they'll all learn blink, which is great for escaping tough situations.

  2. My armor percentage right now is 85% (It's a singleton run), but the actual damage I'm taking seems to be about 25% of the attack damage or more. For example, an attack did 126 points total of physical damage, and I blocked 91 points and took 35. This is about average based on looking at a number of example attacks on my character. Why aren't I taking around 15% of the damage, instead of 25+? Additionally, there seems to be pretty big variance, with some attacks being reduced by around only 66%. Note that I'm playing on Torment, and I'm not sure how that affects this issue.

The issue is even more prevalent with my other defensive stats which are lower: for example, my cold resist is sitting at 71%, but the damage I take seems to be around 60% of the attack damage, not ~30.

  3. Additionally, I can't seem to find the file you're talking about. I see these (for t73's):

    t73ghelia

    t73UnderDracotxt

    t73UnderDracodlg

    t73UnderDraco

This is a Crystal Souls question, did you think I meant EftP? In the meantime I'm adapting the script to work in the tower of Magi instead of Mertis because I can't find Mertis soldier dialogue.

    Edit: It worked! Thanks again.

  4. Hey guys, long time Spiderweb Software game player here. I'm going through a Singleton Torment playthrough, and everything has been going pretty great, until I realized that way back at ~level 14 in Chapter 1 I trained Hardiness twice. I then realized how much of a mistake this was when trying to level it past 10. I can't even level it past 10 in the editor! I'll take any way (cheats, save game editors, trainers etc) to "fix" this mistake as I really don't feel like starting this playthrough over and don't want my character to be stunted.

    Don't worry,
It's even more tantalizing for those of us who don't have Macs. More tantalizing, and more evil. Yes, I'm insinuating that Macs (and Jeff's use of them) are evil.

Come to think of it, the Swedes never have seemed up to the task when it comes to music. They might take some lessons from their kin over in Iceland.

I'm pretty darn sure it is. Heres the YouTube link to the music video.

Edit: Found another song from the same artist about the same game.

Ever read the Bartimaeus trilogy? It theorizes that there is a plane with an indefinite amount of demons, something like a nether plane, where things almost like essence is. When you summon a demon you bind that essence into a corporeal form. They then would not have to reproduce, if there was an indefinite amount.

If it's the latter: I prefer the forums, personally.

No, I mean just a database of objective information on anything having to do with the game. As that's already being done, this poll serves more as a "see who supports it" then a "lets make one". I'd like to see some organization on the wiki though, I haven't, obviously, heard any news about it.
  9. The word gay has indeed made fools out of all of us. Even i struggle to avoid using it in everyday convesation, even around friends that i know are homosexual. I know a (male?) watch that wants to copulate with another (male?) watch would be the only gay watch, but still i say it. Funny how that works. Reminds me of the word "like".

  10. And i change mine to humans. After all, are we not mere creations of the Holy One, Blessed be he, who deigned to grant us humble existence? Was it not he who blessed us all, to the last baton with life? All of us are creations friends, and... *looks around and sees no one is listening* ... I think I'll leave mine at Gazers.

  11. "Popular" song. People don't know the game but sing the song, because it's a good song. As well as it's in Swedish and it's hard to understand that it's about a game... but... still.

Well, popular now at least. I don't see people Rockin' out to pacman these days.
