I've had stunning blow for a while, and it hasn't seemed to do much so I never use it. Does it lay on a few extra points of "stun" than your standard attack?

What exactly does stunning do? Does it cause a foe to lose action points?

Be careful with that shade fight! If I remember correctly, it was quite a toughie, and long as well.

I think it *might* give you an additional action point, but I am not certain.

Having non-humans in your party doesn't factor in to this, do you think? At least not majorly?

Also, an unrelated question, say you delete some of your characters at the beginning (I wanted to try a singleton game). Is there anywhere in game where you can get new characters? I remember waaay back in Exile 1 if you deleted them you could touch the portal that you started from to generate a new character.

Is it even possible? I've just completed my first run through of the game and have tried several times to join up. Each time has been met with failure. If someone could walk me through what steps I need to take on my second play through to enable this to happen, it'd be much appreciated.
